Ningbo Nanyuan Resort Reviews

The place is good and the front desk people are very kind however I was disappointed because there were work in progress in the resort and was really noisy. I wake up at 6.30 am because they were working right in front of our villa. And could not take an afternoon nap for the same reason 😔. I went there to enjoy a quiet environment and was noiser than my place in town! I advised trip to highlight the situation so when someone book is aware of it and decide if want to go there anyway.

It was a nice experience. Well mannered staff.

The hotel has big, spacious rooms and a nice swimming pool. It could do with more facilities for recreation as there’s not much to do in the area. More food options would also be beneficial. Overall, a nice stay.

The resort and room are beautiful. We went for 1 night just to use the pool. The pool was lovely and huge. I was shocked how cold the air conditioner in the room was because it was so hot outside. This made me so happy. We rented a golf cart to ride around for 80 rmb for 30 minutes. That was fun. The room was great and bathroom was the biggest I have ever seen. It was a nice weekend but honestly I wouldn’t return. You can only spend so much time in the pool and there is nothing else to do around the hotel. If you like sitting in nature and reading a book or meditating you will love the place.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, and Cheng Erhui was very helpful in getting us settled and helping us get back home. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the temperature was perfect for a hot summer's day. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff helped us choose food based on our preferences. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of savoury and sweet food, and a range of drinks. We'll definitely go back.

The hotel was big and clean, not much to do in the facility besides the pool which is great. If you staying far in you have to wait for a shuttle to fetch you as its quite far from the reception area.

Lovely location and lovely,, large, comfortable, clean room. You step out of the hotel and you’re in the middle of nature, and near a very beautiful part of the lake. The service was great too. They brought fruit, yoghurt, biscuits and drinks as gifts. I definitely want to go back. There were two negative points: the outdoor swimming pool was not open until the 1st July, so I couldn’t use this facility. The information about amenities of the hotel did not put the opening dates of the swimming pool, so this was a huge disappointment. Also, there is a fridge in the room that is really only a cooling box, and didn’t really make the drinks cool at all.

It was a bit cold these days because of the rain, but the scenery of the hotel is still good, the foggy feeling is very beautiful. The hotel's breakfast is a set meal, but it is delicious. The waiters in the restaurant are also very enthusiastic, the room is spacious and well-planned, I will come again next time.

I came to Ningbo with my family for two days and stayed in this hotel. The room was clean, tidy and bright, with complete facilities. The hotel service was also good, and the price-performance ratio was very high. It is worth coming again!

The hotel has a great outdoor environment, with mountains, water, rockery, fish ponds, and recreational facilities. Children love it. The housekeeper Xiao Wu also provides great service. The only drawback is that some areas are currently under renovation. I will go again with friends after the upgrade!

This time I chose a hotel in the Dongqian Lake area for vacation. I didn't expect that there were relatively few people. The hotel is large and quiet. The service staff is also very considerate. They arranged for the concierge to deliver it to my room and gave me fruits. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are large, and the view is very wide. I stay at this hotel every time I come to Ningbo. It is very cost-effective. There are 4A-level scenic spots such as Dongqian Lake, Ancient Street, and Xiaoputuo around the hotel. It is very convenient for self-driving tours. The hotel has enough parking spaces. The hotel's sanitation environment is good, the facilities are also complete, and the front desk also delayed our check-out until 3 pm. I am very satisfied.

The hotel is in a good location, on the edge of Dongqian Lake, and near the entrance is a great place to enjoy the sunset. The heating in the room is very comfortable, and the service staff is also very considerate. The only drawback is that the breakfast provided by the hotel is a quota system. In the winter, except for noodles and wontons, all other ingredients are cold.
