The environment here deserves a 99% rating. Most of the staff were great, though a few individuals could improve their service. The hot springs were very relaxing. Breakfast had limited variety but good quality. Having to take two shuttle transfers just to get to breakfast was a bit tiring.

The hotel upgraded our room to a two-bedroom villa. The large living room on the first floor was perfect for our group to hang out, and the two completely separate rooms on the second floor were incredibly quiet. The hotel environment is lovely, and we could call for a shuttle service to take us anywhere we needed to go. The service was excellent.

Room service was equally impressive; our room was spotlessly clean, with every detail perfectly executed. Breakfast was abundant and exquisite, combining both Chinese and Western options with fresh ingredients and artful presentation. Sitting in the restaurant, surrounded by lush greenery outside the window, was a wonderful way to start each day. The hotel facilities are also top-notch. The private hot springs were incredibly relaxing, the indoor and outdoor pools were clear and serene, and the gym was well-equipped. What was most captivating, however, was the hotel's natural surroundings – enveloped by mountains, with swaying bamboo forests, babbling brooks, and air as pure as crystal. Strolling through it felt like being in a secluded paradise. Though only three days, Anlan Hotel Ninghai provided us with complete relaxation and joy. It's more than just a hotel; it's a place where one can slow down, find peace, and reconnect with their true self. We look forward to our next visit.

A vacation is essentially about finding a different place to sleep, and Ninghai Anlan is definitely a great spot for that. The hotel is nestled atop two lush green mountains, and having the hot spring right in your room, where you can relax while soaking and gazing at the mountains, is incredibly enjoyable. The hotel offers a variety of activities you can sign up for, though most of them come with a fee. I had dinner there on the first night. While they offered river and seafood, the dishes were quite sweet, probably to cater to the many guests from Suzhou, Wuxi, and Shanghai. I personally don't care for hotels where you need to be shuttled everywhere. For my room, breakfast and dinner required a shuttle to the hotel lobby, and then another car to the restaurant. I suggest the hotel consider offering some simple breakfast options in the area where I stayed, giving guests a choice that doesn't involve so much back-and-forth. I wonder who thought that building a scenic hotel on a mountain and then relying solely on buggy shuttles was a good idea; shuttles only lead to dissatisfied guests, never satisfied ones. This is an honest review, but ultimately, it's a fantastic hotel for a quiet getaway – perfect for having coffee, reading a book, sleeping in, and truly relaxing.

Our two-night stay at Ninghai Anlan was absolutely perfect, with incredible weather throughout! 🤩 The hotel is nestled into the mountainside, tucked away amidst lush greenery. The views from the rooms are phenomenal; every window opens up to stunning green vistas, offering a serene and healing escape. The infinity pool boasts an amazing ambiance, and they even provide two complimentary drinks. I spent a whole afternoon lounging there, completely relaxed and at ease. I was incredibly impressed by the hotel's equestrian center. I got to groom and feed the gentle and well-behaved ponies, especially 'Chocolate' the Shetland pony, who was super friendly and a great sport for photos! Overall, the service was attentive and thoughtful, with great attention to detail. The only thing to note is that you need to book the shuttle bus ten minutes in advance. This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel, perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. It's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle, offering an excellent experience. Definitely worth a return visit!

The hotel upgraded our room, so we ended up staying in a mountain-view suite. It's a duplex suite with a large terrace. The first floor has the living room and a guest bathroom, while the second floor is the master bedroom. From the terrace, you can see an isolated hilltop, and the environment is serene. It's very quiet at night, perfect for listening to nature's sounds and falling asleep easily. The master bedroom on the second floor has a stand-alone bathtub, which can be filled directly with hot spring water. The toiletries are from Guerlain, and after a bath, it felt like all the fatigue from a day of travel just melted away. Breakfast requires a buggy ride to the restaurant. It's small but exquisite; the portions aren't large, but there's a wide variety, and the food tastes great! The staff could smile more and greet guests proactively; they didn't seem very enthusiastic. This hotel isn't suitable for families with children under 7, as there aren't many kids' facilities, and those that exist are quite far apart.

The hotel's location, natural environment, and facilities were all fantastic. What's more, the service was exceptional! I was most impressed by Nova; her attentive service and extra information made our trip even more rewarding. This trip was a bit rushed at 3 days, so next time I'll definitely come back with a more generous time budget.

The location is beautiful. The room was spacious with a huge terrace. The reception staff could be a bit more welcoming to give the whole experience a positive start. Lack of English speaking reception is another problem if you cannot speak Chinese.

The hotel room and environment were both great. Our butler, Timo, contacted us even before check-in, and knowing we had a child, he upgraded our room. When my child fell ill during our stay, he also arranged for the restaurant to prepare some congee, showing truly thoughtful and attentive service. The outdoor hot spring had a lovely Japanese ambiance, and the pool was also beautiful, though unfortunately, it was closed for swimming this season. Breakfast was decent; it had all the basics but nothing spectacular. There are several good local farm-to-table restaurants about a ten-minute drive from the hotel in town.

The price and service are inversely proportional. It would be more fitting to rename this place the 'Sloth Hotel'. I'd give 0.5 points for the service to the shuttle driver, who was polite. I booked a room for my birthday and informed them in advance, hoping for a simple decoration. Upon arrival, I was told they hadn't received any such request. Kudos to Trip.com for their swift handling; they helped us switch rooms. The room change itself took an hour. Every time we wanted to go somewhere, it was an endless wait of 20+ minutes. What they call a 'private hot spring' is just a bathtub. Using the hotel's public hot spring costs an additional 188 per person. The dining experience is nowhere near what you'd expect from a five-star hotel; even a rural guesthouse serves better food. Paying 3000+ for a hotel with such service is truly disappointing.

First time traveling for Spring Break, and we chose the Yishanju one-bedroom villa at Anandi Nanning. The room is located on the mountain with beautiful views and a fantastic large balcony. The hotel facilities are complete; the hot springs and horseback riding experiences were great. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's travel photography service is excellent! Highly recommended!

Regarding the room: We stayed in a Mountain View LOFT, which was incredibly spacious and exquisitely designed. The highlight was definitely the floor-toceiling window; lying in bed, you could gaze out at the rolling hills, and your mood would instantly lift. The room also came with a private hot spring tub, directly fed by natural hot spring water from Naxi Hot Spring, sourced over 2000 meters underground. A soak in the evening left our skin feeling silky smooth, relieving fatigue and providing pure relaxation. Regarding the service: Contrary to some online reviews, the service was truly exceptional. A butler contacted us even before check-in, and the one we had was incredibly thoughtful. They helped us plan our itinerary, arranged electric buggy transfers, and were very quick to respond, making us feel very well taken care of. If you're looking for a peaceful weekend retreat to reconnect with nature, Ninghai Anlan is definitely worth a try!

The balcony is your private viewing platform; enjoying fruit and sun while gazing at the mountain view is so delightful you won't want to leave. The infinity pool offers stunning photo opportunities, perfect for travel shots. 🛁 Excellent Facilities The private hot spring in the room is incredibly comfortable. Soaking in the spring while admiring the mountain view washes away all fatigue. The JBL speaker delivers great sound, enhancing the atmosphere. Breakfast is rich and delicious, with both local flavors and Western options available. Eating breakfast while overlooking the valley is incredibly therapeutic. Seven years later, I returned to Ninghai Anlan for another stay, enjoying a peaceful mountain retreat with my family. Surrounded by bamboo forests, it's a tranquil and healing place, and the facilities and ambiance are still top-notch. The service throughout was incredibly attentive. What was particularly heartwarming was that, given the difficulty in getting a taxi in the area, the hotel proactively arranged a complimentary business van to transport my family to and from the hot spring resort 10km away. Their sincerity and thoughtfulness far exceeded expectations. They truly made us feel at home. This is a gem of a hotel I'll definitely keep coming back to.
