"The hotel is in a quieter and less busy part of the lake, closer to the big mountain. Room was very quiet and warm at night in early April. There is a heater in the bathroom so I felt like in a sauna. The mattress can also be heated on colder days. They provide a ton of snacks like chocolate, nuts, wafers. We also had afternoon tea once we arrived. Their breakfast is very impressive and not spicy. There’s no lift but a very nice staff girl 直玛 helped us to carry our bags up and down. We also asked if we can get some snacks for our trip back to Lijiang, and she gave so many rose cakes for free. Very satisfied with the service. They also picked us up from another hotel on a car."

"I highly recommend the Erodie Hotel! The lake view is truly top-notch, offering an unobstructed panorama of the beautiful Lugu Lake. The water is crystal clear and the mountains are lush green; every photo you take here turns out stunning. The rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the lake. Waking up to a misty lake in the morning and watching the sunset glow on the water in the evening is incredibly soothing and relaxing. The butlers, Erche, Azuo, Zhaxi, and Zhongwei, provided warm and professional service. The facilities are excellent, and the transportation is convenient. Overall, the holiday experience was absolutely perfect!"

"The guy at the front desk was super nice! He replied to messages very quickly and was always there to help with anything we needed. The hotel's location is great, right below the Goddess Mountain cable car. Parking is free at the cable car lot, which is just a two-minute walk from the hotel. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room view was good too, and we could easily walk to Lugu Lake. 👍🏻"

"1. The quality of the amenities was acceptable; for example, the slippers were noticeably better than average. 2. The cleanliness was acceptable in visible areas, but spiderwebs could be seen on the wooden beams on the second floor, indicating a buildup of dust. 3. The infrastructure was problematic. The first time we entered the room, the floor heating controller burned out, creating a foul smell. It took us a while to locate the problem. After changing rooms, we were scratched by the barbs under the bed. Thankfully, the slippers here were made of thicker materials, so the barbs only penetrated the uppers. If they had been lodged in our feet, we would have definitely filed a claim. We woke up after a night's sleep to find the power outage, which was quite frustrating. We checked and found a power outage. A power outage in the coldest hours of the morning would have been a terrible experience, but fortunately, it was probably caused by a problem at dawn. 4. After the third incident, although we were relatively tolerant and didn't cause any unpleasantness, we ultimately received no sincere apology from the hotel, and we felt the service was below par for this price range."

The coffee at breakfast was so fragrant, it really satisfied this coffee lover! The beautiful Lugu Lake is truly unforgettable. I hope high-speed rail opens soon so I can come back and visit again."
