I made a mistake by selecting this hotel, it is very isolated and away from town with tough road access. It would be good for somebody who's looking for a retreat. However, there are many better options near to Tam Coc town where you can have access to restaurants, shops, tours, night walk, etc.

The swimming pool was very fun. The hotel is surrounded by mountains, so it's not very convenient to go out, so we rented a motorcycle to go around and it was perfect... The hotel's breakfast didn't have much food, so just eat it. The price was so cheap, so don't expect everything to be perfect. The toilet window in the room you stayed in couldn't be closed tightly, so there were often mosquitoes in the room, but it was equipped with an electric mosquito swatter 😂 There are also simple children's play facilities in the hotel garden. Overall very good!

This was one of the most beautiful places we visited. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way especially as we visited at the beginning of a typhoon. Food was lovely including great #vegan options. Everywhere was exceptionally clean.

There are lots of variable reviews for An’s Eco Garden. I am sure this comes from expectations and I suspect from who made the booking (yourself or an agent). If you are used to modern 4-5star hotels and never stayed in / want to stay in a rustic 3-4 star more basic lodge then this is not the place for you. If you are happy to stay in a slightly rural, rough around the edges but with beautiful views, nestled in the mountains, relax in the beautiful pool watching goats traverse the rocks with a cold drink and in the evening have delicious food this is the place. Yes the bathrooms is 3 star and some mould due to humidity - but is not dirty. Yes there are crickets, spiders, lizards and other insects that will get in your room - but they can be removed or will run away. But the aircon works to cool the bedroom, the views from the bed / your terrace is stunning. The rustic design is like travelling in the early days of tourism in South East Asia. Come with the right expectations and you will enjoy your time. We stayed 1 night and loved it - especially meeting the lovely cat who gave us so much love at dinner.

Rural calm
Great location, surrounded by a little slice of rural life. Morning walks among the rice fields is a must have break from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
Only negative part was the food. It felt like they tried to make Vietnamese food for westernes, which ends up lacking taste

Beautiful grounds and great staff
We enjoyed our stay, the grounds and personnel were fantastic. We stayed in a quaint bungalow with a wall that was the actual rock so when it rained, this adjoining room got cooler and humid. We discovered a good gap in the screen where mosquitoes could enter but the issue was quickly and effectively fixed. Restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast was fulsome and varied. We would be happy to return.
