Our stay at Shorfet Al Alamin Hotel was a mixed experience with both positives and a few major concerns. The most disappointing part was finding a scorpion inside the room the next morning, which was quite disturbing. Also, one of the beds in our room was broken, and I had to be shifted to another room during the stay. However, the staff handled everything very well — the service team was prompt, polite, and genuinely apologetic about the inconvenience caused. The food was definitely one of the highlights, with both breakfast and dinner being very good, and compliments to the chef for the excellent preparation. A nice gesture from the team was arranging takeaway breakfast for us on one of the days since we had an early hiking plan. Another convenient aspect was that the car could be parked right outside the room, which made access very easy throughout the stay.
