This place is a franchise so I was expecting way more, we travelled here off peak season in the middle of the month. Our needs were never accommodated from the beginning due to poor management and ridiculous rules. We asked to be upgraded to a sea view room because the hotel was empty they lied and said it’s full. I asked to be assisted organizing a romantic picnic on the beach, they offered assistance but made me wait a ridiculous amount of time so I left it out they were reluctant to help me all services require a huge wait time, even simple things. The staff were polite however and tried to help they were governed by unaccommodating rules. The access to the beach was the best part. The breakfast was also good. Will never return!

A hidden gem:) We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Reef Zinkwazi. The staff were incredibly inviting and organised. The apartments are beautiful and well looked after. The facilities are excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. Love the direct beach access and the beautiful forest and walkway leading to the beach. We will definitely be back:)

I would recommend the place for a day visit, if it is for a long-term stay, please rather buy your own food to cook as the menu is limited and repeated throughout the day.

There is no entertainment, no game room, ni snooker or pool table, trampoline for kids, limited tourist attractions. Sea view not visible, covered by trees. It's dark when you walking back from the beach in the sunset and no security thag side.
