We selected Takahiraya for a night on our roadtrip through Miyazaki and were not disappointed: very spacious room with sofa, table, overlooking the bay, spotless clean. Our room had a big round bathtub. However, it's not onsen, but regular water (as indicated on their webpage). The Ryokan is on a hill, a couple of minutes away from the small town Kitaura We decided not to have dinner here, as we weren't that hungry - there are a couple of simple options in town. Overall very good price/value, we'd like to come again when in the area!

ツアーの夕食で利用しました。宿泊はしていません。 お料理は伊勢えびのお造りがメインですが、ほかにもたくさんの魚料理をいただきました。伊勢えびのお刺身は初めていただきました。その後伊勢えびの殻を火であぶり、みそ汁にしてくれます。テーブル一杯に料理が並べられ、目でも楽しめました。 スタッフの方々もテキパキと動き、感じが良かったです。
