Papaya Resort Nong Khiaw

It was a really nice place! Lots of bugs obviously since we are in nature but the private bungalow was really good for 2 people! Staff was amazing and food was really good!

Upon your arrival you’ll be greeted with a smile & a refreshing glass of water. The staff will check you in & guide you to your room. There you’ll find your new home away from home. Equipped with all the necessary tools to make your stay enjoyable. From the staff, food, location and excursions… you’ll more than enjoy your stay. I can’t recommend this place enough because I felt at home the entire time. If you’re in town for even one night, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to experience the love & peace this place offers. I miss being there already & looking forward to forward to returning.

Best place to stay in Nong Khiaw. Such a beautiful location, has everything you may need, all tents are well equipped. Mr Wan is such a sweet heart, he made my stay here really memorable. 30 min walk from the town. Has access to the river which was really cool

The most amazing place! Not only is the view like something out of a movie, Mr. Wan is the loveliest host. He genuinely cares about his guests and is willing to help any way he can. Great food in the restaurant and the whole papaya resort team is super friendly.

Location is great if you have a motorbike. Owner rents good e-scooters at good price. Amazing view.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is phenomenal, right at the river, far enough from Nong Khiaw proper to be a bit secluded, but still close enough to reach walking or with a bicycle (which you can rent at the reception). It is right next to the street, but the traffic dies down at night. Honestly, we found the occasional motorboat on the river to be louder, and you'll probably hear those regardless of where you stay in Nong Khiaw. The food at the restaurant was really good, we ate there all the time. The manager will help you with anything you could need, always with a smile and loads of enthusiasm.

I stayed in a bungalow in this friendly resort, in beautifully peaceful location on the Nam Ou river. The room was very comfortable, I had a great view and the food was excellent and inexpensive. Of the many services they offer I hired a bicycle and went on a fantastic day-long boat tour. Mr Wan and team went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay.
