Rising Sun Hotel
Royal Britannia Hotel
"Location is fairytale perfect. You just can't describe the feeling you get looking out of your massive bay window and see the tide come in, waves so close you can hear them from you bedroom as you watch the boat bob around. I've stayed here at least 20 times as a child back in the 90s so as an adult ive always wanted to make it my yearly holiday and it did not disappoint. We got the king harbor view room with bath, magical woodwork on the bed, vanity area, modern fans, Very beautiful fire place. When we asked for an extra duvet (not because it was cold we just individual preference) was no problem at all. An added bonus is that you can bring your meals to your room if you fancy a private room with a view of the sea... Perfect! The food was Aaamazing, honestly you can see from the pictures. Wide luxury menu. Everything we ordered we were so so pleased with and chef was so friendly and down to earth. The bar staff were always so friendly and chatty. The owner is lovely aswell we checked in and had a wonderful chat about how the hotel was in the 90s and felt welcome."

"I’ve been fortunate enough to be well travelled and stayed in hundreds of hotels but this one is one of the best. The little details make this place so special. The accommodation was of exceptional quality with a massive bathroom, the room was spacious but so cosy I was asleep by 9.30! The food was delicious, the quality was outstanding and so lovely to see the chef taking real pride in what he does. The service was amazing, the waitresses and management were so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. This is the best value for a hotel, we hope to be back v soon!!"

"This Bed and Breakfast was lovely, we received a warm welcome by the owners, we arrived late in the day but this wasn’t a problem to them. The room was delightful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, sweetener was appreciated! The breakfast was served in the bright conservatory and was superb, we were asked the night before if we had any dietary requirements to ensure our breakfast was served in good time the next morning, this was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!"
