Really lovely environment, very clean, and service was out of this world. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was beautiful. This hotel is a must, excellent value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us.

It’s cheap for a reason. As another review has mentioned, feels more like a motel than a hotel. I don’t feel the carefully taken website photos are representative of the rooms. Parking is £2.50, despite enough spaces to fill the hotel several times over and nothing else being nearby. Whilst the en suite has been renovated, it was cold and should have been cleaner - the shower was covered with limescale and the bath felt like it hadn’t been wiped properly. The bedroom was tired, with an endless intermittent buzzing noise coming through the floor - this did not stop. I was told this was due to the plumbing and people showering, but it is enough to send you mad and would be impossible to sleep through. I’d advise if the bed was comfy, but in the end I booked a room elsewhere.

There’s definitely potential here—the rooms are a decent size and with some care and investment, this could be a really lovely place. Unfortunately, the reality is far from that. My room was uncomfortably cold, even with the radiator turned up, and the furnishings were very dated. Cleanliness was also an issue—there were hairs on the pillows when I arrived. Noise at night was another major problem which made it impossible to sleep. I mentioned it to the general manager and was told it was “just the water pump”—no apology, no concern, and no offer to move rooms. Reception isn’t staffed at certain times, which I understand, but then the out-of-hours contact details should at least work. No one responded to calls, which is not acceptable—what if there had been an emergency? Breakfast added to the strangeness. The “breakfast to go” consisted of a toastie and a croissant with no best-before date. It’s far from what most people would expect, especially when there’s a restaurant space that could easily be used for a simple continental setup if there were more effort put in. Such a shame, because the space really does have potential—but it’s being completely wasted right now.

I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. First of all the exterior of the hotel especially the foyer, the setting outside and the quiet space with the outdoor lights and benches was a lovely setting. The hotel is very peaceful and has an in-house restaurant called Ba’zaan. Beautiful food! Lovely interior and ambience. The staff were beyond accommodating, exceptional, mannerable and kid friendly. I would definitely go again.

Its more like Motel than a hotel, room was satisfactory, but no bar or lounge, there's only an Indian restaurant which is not part of the hotel, breakfast is a toasty, pineapple chunks, and a apple juice in a paper bag!!!. My own view is they should take back control of restaurant and do English food and breakfasts, plus have a residents lounge with a bar, which would make it a good hotel. There was a noisy pump going on /off all night.

The room furniture was ancient old and worn, the room smelt terrible windows were open to rid smell, no amenities so had to order takeaway, the reviews you read are lies and made up this hotel is very very poor and even charge for parking. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay

Ample parking (£2.50 per night). Very reasonable room rates. 'To go' breakfast at a small charge more than adequate and well priced. Smart Indian restaurant within. The bedroom had everything one could need although the mattress and pillows were quite hard. Would have appreciated a fleece/blanket. No pillow protectors. The shower room was very smart, clean and modern. Public areas and inner courtyard is attractive. Manager/receptionist was very accommodating, although only available for a few hours per morning and evening. Overall, good value for money.
