Fantastic stay from the welcome intro to the breakfast the following morning what a great place. A nice walk before a bite to eat over the road and a lovely Sunday roast at a very busy pub . The room was spotless and a great tea tray , many thanks to Neil and his team for a great Easter stay .

This is the best b and b we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail was faultless. From being greeted by the owner in the car park to leaving after a delicious breakfast the following day. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, plenty of towels, toiletries and even fresh milk in the fridge to use. The staff were friendly , happy and professional. We couldn’t fault anything during our stay. We will certainly go back and hopefully stay longer than one night next time.

What a fantastic find in a lovely village. Stunning room with a huge, comfy bed, a beautiful bathroom, fantastic tea and coffee tray. Could not fault it at all. Breakfast was gorgeous as well with a huge selection. Across the road from a wonderful pub serving first rate food (and beers) as well. Will be back.

Excellent facilites, great service from friendly staff offering good value pricing. Conveniently located for the Yorkshire Dale's and the North York Moors and coastal towns. Beautiful decor and the best full English breakfast I have had in years

An excellent B&B with nothing to fault it. Neil is very welcoming and hospitable. He has shown a lot of thought and equipped the rooms with all the things that make the difference between a good stay and a great stay, such as two comfortable chairs, so that you can both relax, and a fridge with fresh milk. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious - really good quality. I would recommend a stay here and we hope to return again soon.

The Old Coach House, near Ripon, is, without doubt, one of THE very best places we've ever stayed at, and we've travelled the UK for the past 50 years! We were welcomed by Neil, who couldn't have done more to make us feel at home. The room, as you can see from the pictures, was not only full of character, but, exceedingly comfortable and very well appointed. Neil has 'gone overboard' to add all those little touches which make staying away from home, all the more enjoyable. To cap it off, the pub, literally across the road, provided us with a truly sumptuous meal, washed down by my very favourite cask ale, Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord Bitter. This was the first time staying here for us,.............it will not be the last!

What a wonderful place. A very warm welcome room was spotless. Neil and all the team made us feel very welcome nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was excellent we would highly recommend this place. Thank you once again hope to see you all again soon.

We stayed for a night as we had been out for lunch across the road at the Staveley Arms We were happily greeted greeted by mine, host, Neil who made us very welcome from the outset We had a lovely room which was snug and warm, and had everything in it that one would need The breakfast was exceptional On the one hand, there is a variety of fruit yoghurts, various breads jams et cetera, and on the other there is the full English breakfast with bacon, egg sausage, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, and there is also the opportunity for smoked salmon if you wanted it We really did enjoy our stay, and it is a lovely place, and I cannot thank Neil enough for the hospitality that he showed us We shall look forward to a return visit sometime and have no hesitation in recommending

This B and B is absolutely fantastic. The welcome and attention to detail in all areas are second to none. They cannot do enough for their guests. The breakfast is wonderful with plentiful options. The pub across the road serves very high quality meals. We would like to extend a special thank you to Neil who cannot do enough for his guests. If you are looking for a place to stay in North Yorkshire look no further.
