We have stayed here many times and it never has disappointed, not even once. This visit was 4 Nights, stayed in 2nd floor room Edward. Roomy, 5 windows, crisp ironed sheets on a very comfortable bed, lush absorbent towels and plenty of closet space to keep our bags from reminding us we were only visiting. So relaxing. Needed to do some “Work” in am so antique Desk and reliable WiFi made that possible Denis and Kendal, Innkeepers, do Unique, Delicious breakfast each morning. 4 mornings no repeats. Fun yet Gourmet in quality. Handmade, fresh and delicious.

A wonderful Inn, kind, generous hosts, delicious breakfasts, peace and quiet, inviting location on Kezar Lake. We are so glad we visited! This is a great place to unplug and imagine simpler times. Ample books, games, art, antique furniture. If you request gluten free, know that they do a fantastic job with gluten-free, gourmet breakfasts.

Our third stay - we like the comfortable rooms, great location. Our room had a view of the lake. Each morning presented an imaginative breakfast. Bring your appetite. It is conveniently located for accessing many sights and activities in both NH and VT.

This is just so nice. We felt like we were visiting relaxed family right away. Friendly people, both the guests and the staff. People passing around a guitar and enjoying a fire, having drinks and eating a snack. Lovely old building, tastefully updated where it makes it more comfortable, yet retaining the character that makes this so wonderful. And the breakfast! The second morning I felt it worth it to cheat on my diet! No two rooms are alike. The whole place is filled with lovely antiques. Walk around the lake. People were out ice fishing while we were there. Except for a short walk we stayed inside most of the time. Always someone to talk to (if you want) or read in a nice nook somewhere. No televisions (I view this as a plus) yet fast free wifi. Our particular room had a jacuzzi, which my wife enjoyed. It was well heated everywhere we explored in this huge old house. Alas, not suitable for those with wheelchairs or difficulty climbing stairs. We'll be back, for sure!

We travel a lot and have stayed in many Inns. This was our second time here (after about 10 years). We were very pleased. We had a quick get away to the lovely Follensbee Inn on Lake Kearsarge in NH. Great relaxing by the fireplace or the wood stove. Loved a amazing breakfast on the beautifully set tables. Fun talking with other guests. The inn is 180+ years old but very updated. Warning: no TV in the building -I thought I would be unhappy about it but it was so nice to turn out the world and rest. There is great WIFI so we peaked at the morning news. The owners are friendly and helpful. Their two dogs are elderly and loving. Breakfast was self serve with many choices. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and bar for guests to use-- other guests brought food for a meal -- great idea. There is lots to do there all year round at the inn. We stayed in because of the extreme cold and wind. Rooms: they are all lovely and about the same size. Very clean. Warning: there were two big candy bowls filled with temptation!! We hope to return.

We definitely want to return to Follansbee Inn in the summer. We stayed there this week and it was wonderful. The hosts are superb and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. We're looking forward to being so close to the lake in warm weather with all it has to offer plus exploring more of the beautiful New Hampshire countryside.

The Follansbee Inn is a true gem, a comfortable country inn with friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful lakeside surroundings, cozy rooms, and a delicious breakfast, plus two friendly dogs. As a bonus, the trees surrounding peaceful Kezar Lake were at peak fall foliage in mid-October. We will definitely be back!
