Days Inn by Wyndham Watford Gap

It was easy to locate, but there was no parking outside the hotel, so I had to park on the services, which was a short walk away. Receptionist Sarah was friendly and polite and explained everything to me. I was working a short distance away from the hotel and Sarah showed me how to access the service road back towards the A5 in the morning rather than have to navigate an unnecessary journey along the motorway which would have easily taken 30.minutes or so. I found my room to be quiet but it was at the rear of the hotel. Easy to access food at the services. Would stay there again.

The hotel is good for a budget stay beside the M1 and has an ideal location. Ensure you witness the staff inputting your registration plate to avoid parking fines. The interior is very tired and could do with a significant update. The bed was comfortable however.

Excellent room on the motorway services. Quick check in with polite, cheerful and helpful receptionists. Short walk to the food court in the service station, plenty of parking outside the hotel and no traffic noise. Good value and would stay here again.

Room was nice but the location is tough as it's next to the M1, for the price it is ideal.
