I am so dissatisfied with the service we received at Shumba Valley Lodge (Lanseria) on Saturday the 14th Sept, our check in time was 2pm and when we arrive at 14:20 we were told our room is not ready yet and we were given an alternative. the receptionist was running around as if she's not sure what she was doing, trying to assist a couple infront of us which seemingly their room was also not ready and at the same time assisting us. The pillows were so flat that we woked up with stiffy necks. we slept with a bed cover only because we couldn't stand the stench coming from the blanket. The Funiture is old and not so clean, the plan was to have breakfast there but after all that we experience we couldn't take a risk, had to drive out for breakfast. the only thing we enjoyed on our stay it was a pool. that place has potential if management can start respecting the guests by making sure they receive the value for their money, buy proper pillows and provide clean towels and blankets.
