"5 night stay. Pros: location from Noto, quiet, hotel exteriors Cons: normal breakfast (never seen typical sweets and those that were there were certainly not from a pastry shop) with frozen croissants, packaged yogurt, fruit salad. But not as described on the site. Lunch and dinner with little choice, very high prices Dammuso room with unpleasant moldy smell, reported immediately to reception to be able to change it as I suffer from sinusitis. The reception staff, with unbelievable excuses, procrastinated or found excuses to avoid the change. Shower with yellowed and moldy plastic curtain. With every use the water ran all the way into the room with wet floor. The staff provided me with towels to dab it!!! And having to use a hairdryer every night the situation was quite dangerous. The shower was broken from day one. Non-existent wardrobe. A coat hanger 50 cm high from the floor (very useful for hanging summer clothes) Dark room due to the presence of only two small windows. But since it is a Dammuso room it must be justified, being a typical Sicilian structure. Upon arrival the toilet was still dirty, hair and fluff in the bathroom. When I reported the incident, they replied that they would check!!!! They made us pay for the stay in advance, even though we had no advance payment obligations. They justified themselves by saying that it is the procedure"

"Lovely three day stay at le Zagare. Giuseppe and his family gave us the warmest of welcomes. The agriturismo is spacious and v well located as a base to explore the southern coast. We had dinner twice at le Zagare and ate delicious antipasto and a mix of fresh homemade pasta. Breakfasts were delicious too! We will happily return to keep exploring the Noto region. "A wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel located in a palace in the lovely town of Noto. The room was exceptional, with a huge jacuzzi, every detail of high quality, and spectacular views of the cathedral. We enjoyed a generous breakfast of carefully selected products in the garden. We especially want to highlight the attentiveness of Maria, who speaks perfect Spanish. She recommended walks and even a great restaurant for our dinner. We will return and highly recommend it."

"For a quick trip to visit friends in Noto we stayed overnight at Villa Ambra managed by its owner of the same name, a very pretty and kind girl who is very committed to welcoming all customers as if they were opening the doors of their home with an exceptional and rare warmth to find! Ambra is also very good because she is available for every request and need and is careful to inform customers of every place of historical and cultural interest to visit in Noto as well as every restaurant where they may eat. And not only that...Ambra provides all the suggestions with a typed sheet of paper for spending a few nice days on the beach among the most famous and beautiful beaches in the area. As far as I'm concerned, the family-run structure is really very appreciable, the quality of all the services including the perfect cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms is excellent. I just feel like making a note on the breakfast that many reviewers have praised excessively. If it is true that in the morning Ambra welcomes its customers to the breakfast room, each at a table already preciously laden with local products, it is also true that there is no buffet that gives space to tastes and preferences other than those that in good substance are kindly offered/imposed by the owners (in my case even a very banal slice of cake or some biscuits was missing and breakfast was mostly concentrated on savory products). Apart from this detail, it is worth staying in this hotel and for this we offer our most sincere compliments to Ambra and her family!!!"
