"We stayed as a family for 5 nights in July. When we originally booked the team at Hotel Peter were very responsive and helpful. We booked 3/4 board, and as we were from the UK, the online booking system would not process a deposit, so I contacted Sofia at the hotel and she was happy for us to pay in full at the end of our stay. This was the first of many excellent interactions. We arrived at the hotel after driving up from Rome, and were met with a warm welcome by the owners. Our rooms (Silver Thistle) were exactly as we expected, large and high quality and next to one another. We headed down for our first dinner at 7 p.m. and were treated to an amazing 5 course meal. Which was repeated every night, always of a very high standard, a mix of Italian, Austrian, French and international cuisine. There is always a vegetarian option across the courses too. Although my son is 12 I'd arranged for him to have the adult menu with the rest of us, and both our children enjoyed the quality and variety of the food, and tried many new dishes. I tip my hat to the chefs and the waiting staff, the quality and ambience of the restaurant for dinner is up there with £80 - £100 per head London restaurants. The food experience continues - breakfast is comprehensive, fresh and delicious, and also the team serve afternoon tea from 2.30 to 5 p.m. with a selection of cakes, tarts, bread, meat and cheeses. The apple strudel, a favourite of mine, is delicious. I would thoroughly recommend the 3/4 board. The food is high quality and it's excellent value. As a family we enjoyed every meal. The hotel is in a perfect location for walks and exploring the Dolomites / Sud Tirol. We went walking every day on the easy to navigate trails (they are well signposted and maps are available from the hotel), plus the hotel runs a guided tour each Wednesday. This is free of charge and well worth it. We visited the canyon in the Geoparc (there is a cost to enter the parc of £10 per adult for safety helmets - which are required in the canyon). Our guide Karin was very knowledgable, patient and had a great sense of humour. All four of us got something different out of it and it was a memorable experience. As we drove convenient and secure parking was important to us. There is ample parking both at ground level and in the underground garage at the hotel. We also saw EV users using the onsite chargers. I've stayed in many hotels of all qualities on both business and pleasure. Many get the simple things wrong, the things which realy impact a stay - a comfortable bed, clean room, powerful shower, helpful staff. Hotel Peter is first class on all these basics, and exceeded all of my expectations. Overall it's one of the best hotels I've enjoyed a several day stay in. One 'even better if' was that when my wife and daughter tried the indoor pool and tub they found it quite cool, and not the 29C as advertised. "If there is a heaven for bikers, it is this place. Well located as starting point for many famous tours, like the Sella Ronda, Nina and her her family makes everyone welcome. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly - they make you feels like coming coming after a full day of riding. Ample covered space is provided for the bikes - you can high pressure wash, check tire pressure and refill oil. The rooms are modern, nice and clean. Wellness area consists out of a sauna, steam bath and indoor swimming pool with indoor and outdoor relax area. All modern and well taken care of. We spent three nights on our motorbike tour through Switzerland, Italy and Austria and it was by far the best hotel. We had dinner included and it was totally worth it - food was a blast every night. The only bad thing I can remember from our stay was the fact that we left the Hotel to continue our trip. I wish we stayed longer ….. We are definite planning to come back and I can only recommend it. We have been here for motorbiking and there was a nice community there with us, which was a bonus on top. But we also saw non motorbikes in the hotel - a very mixed and relaxed community from multiple different countries. The staff speaks German, Italian and English."

"Sporthotel Obereggen is absolutely outstanding. From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel genuinely welcome, warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. The ski depot is a huge plus. It is modern, spacious, and perfectly located right next to the ski lift, which makes mornings effortless and lets you ski straight back to the hotel at the end of the day. "A truly lovely family hotel where you get a genuine experience of being welcomed into a Tyrolean family home. The owners and staff are gorgeous- they work tirelessly to ensure guests have everything they need. Beautiful location with lots of hiking and biking near by. Rooms are comfortable, relaxing and quiet with excellent beds. The food is copious and if good quality. The spa (swimming pool, sauna, steam and relaxation rooms plus massage) is excellent and very welcome after a day out on the hills. Would thoroughly recommend."

"What an absolute GEM of a property! This cosy 4.5 star hotel nestled in the Dolomites was the best find in our Italian trip. It has such a great vibe with all staff going above and beyond to assist in any way possible. Our room was excellent - large, clean and comfortable with gorgeous views to the Mountains. The hotel is ''Alpine" styled which works in so well with the environment. They have complimentary drinks & nibbles on a Monday and also offer a highly experienced guide to take guests for hikes in the local mountain area. There is a great terrace overlooking the district and inside you can choose from many quiet nooks to read or enjoy a drink. The breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from. Al a carte dinner menu was limited but delicious and had something for everyone to choose from. Set menus are also available which we did not try but looked fabulous. In terms of getting to the hotel, we had a car so it was easy to locate with plenty of parking. Unsure what the transport options would be for non-driving guests. Only regret is that we didn't book to stay longer. There are Spa and wellness options too which would have been good to take advantage of. We will definitely come here again - Summer or Winter this hotel ticks all the boxes."

"4.5 stars to be 5 would need: Put the description and composition on buffet food and breakfast ( x any allergens) Find a remedy for summer mosques ( UV lamps or close the food in transparent bacons) All the rest great from food, buffet, breakfast, swimming pool and cleaning Excellent price quality, pet friendly ( not easy to find at this level) I am convinced that the next time I return to it my constructive criticism will be Received to the prox"

"We spent a week in the Regglberger Hof and we felt very well! The hotel is managed familiarly and emittes a very special hospitality. The mother of the family autumn and the son always take care of the good of the guests. Unique! The kitchen is already almost ***** 5Sterne suspect and you have a very delicious dinner every evening. Breakfast is also excellent for Italian conditions! The premium room was very spacious and comfortable and during the stay there are bathrooms and bath tubs available. The new sauna area with three saunas I enjoyed very much and also the outdoor pool. The very beautiful bar and outdoor terrace at good weather has also enjoyed us very well in the evening. Parking is right in front of the door and the hotel is ideal for many unique walks in the Dolomites. Whether KarerSee, Rosengarten or White & Schwarzhorn= everything is available in about 30Minutek!"
