Everything about this hotel was perfect, except for its location being a bit far from the ski lifts. I mainly chose this hotel because it's one of the few in Nozawa Onsen with private bathrooms. The dinners were incredibly generous every night. The room temperature was just right, heated by AC but never cold. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This hotel delivers everything you want from a family holiday. Although it is situated away from the centre of the village, we found this to be an advantage for our family, preferring a quiet location. Only 5 mins walk to the Chuo main terminal, where you can catch the free local shuttle bus to the ski fields. Getting to the hotel from Iiyama station was also easy via Nagaden Bus No.9 from bus stop 2, which drops you off right outside the hotel (last stop). We had breakfast and dinner included. Dinner was exceptional with a different Japanese 10-course menu every night. We also added the optional extras which had horse meat one night, and A5 wagyu on other nights. Onsite onsen was great after a full day's worth of skiing. We also found the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly, and Yumi was on hand to help with any odd requests. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable holiday experience!

I feel like we got the best surprise as I was unsure what we were expecting. The room space is cozy but just enough for a family. The service is exceptional, the staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is really good and dinner was exceptional with many courses and changing everyday.

We had a great experience here. It's a long walk to the slopes, but we knew that before we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, our Japanese style room was spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is situated on a hill, but there's a direct bus from Iiyama Station that drops you right at the entrance, which saved us from lugging our suitcases uphill. On our departure day, it snowed heavily, and we couldn't take that direct bus. The snow outside was quite deep, making it hard to go downhill with luggage. In the end, the hotel helped us call a taxi to the bus center, which was reasonably priced at only 1100 yen. The hot springs, of course, were excellent, with very hot water and great outdoor views overlooking the entire onsen town from above. The ski resort is right next door. As soon as ski season starts, the town immediately comes alive with a fantastic atmosphere.
