The fryers badly need cleaning. The food would be passible if it wasn’t for the rancid oil. The manageress, Wendy, constantly interrupts customers, even when they are having private conversations over dinner. She is rude and demeaning to the staff. May be she thinks she is being funny or flirting. The camp site facilities need more regular cleaning.

Class place staff typical Yorkshire bumkins.very friendly.food excellent. 10/10.good place for dog walking and chilling out.very good prices.campimg great.great pint.coudnt fault the place.we have visited twice in one month very friendly people.giv a hand to the canal boaters they love it😁

First of all a big thanks to Wendy and the rest of the staff who made it so enjoyable. The toilets are not filthy at all and seem to be attended regularly, the pub and food are extremely good value and really tasty. We went as a late booking after being let down and we will come back many times. Ignore people who seem to have the knife in for the site and I urge you to go and see for yourself.
