Nuremberg Homestays

The location is very convenient next to the u line. If the itinerary is arranged to visit the German Museum, you can come back immediately to rest. The shower equipment is warm enough and the hot water is very refreshing! The price is a hotel with a high CP value in Nuremberg.

This traditional inn is 1min walk from the subway and main train station in a busy pedestrian shopping street. Not the nicest or most romantic areas of Nuremberg, but certainly excellent for public transport. There is a restaurant downstairs, with rooms above. My room was clean and looked very much like on the hotel photo but smaller thanks to the wide lens effect, there are no common areas to speak of aside from the restaurant, and the corridors could do with a freshen-up. The room was fine, the bed a standard 90cm single and moderately comfortable. It was clean. I have not tried the restaurant, which is Bavarian and pretty much for meat-lovers, with salad and one or two vegetarian dishes in a super meaty menu. As the hotel is in a busy area, it does get really loud all day until the wee hours. Even though I had a room out overlooking the yard, it was really noisy with the windows open, better with the windows closed but then stifingly hot in summer. Only for that reason I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Kinda difficult to do the self check-in. Must get an access code to enter the apartment and complete the entire check-in process. The rooms are basically perfect though.
