The Farm Resorts is one of the greatest hotels we have ever been to. Exceptional hospitality, cozy spacious rooms, amazing food, serene views throughout the day and so many adventures and activities to do within and around the resort makes it an unforgettable stay of your life. Mustn’t forget to thank the butler we got, Mr. Piyal, who commenced his friendly, and extraordinary service even before we arrived at the hotel. The best service we have ever received from a local hotel! From the check-in at reception to the check-out, we were treated as family, not as guests. A true depiction of Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally we would like to convey our thanks to Mr. Mahinda who assisted us with the Kayaking adventure. It was not just Kayaking but also an hour filled with so much knowledge gathering about the nature surrounding, history and cultural aspects of the area etc. The entire property is well maintained by the staff to ensure their guests enjoy the stunning views whilst strolling through the beautifully crafted gardens and tea estate. You also have the option to choose the location where you’d prefer to enjoy your meals and we recommend both the restaurant (dinner) and outdoor dining area (breakfast). If you ever visit this island in the Indian Ocean, never forget to book a stay at The Farm Resorts, a place where luxury meets nature.

If you want to have a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the place to go. We went to this hotel for a one night stay. We booked a premium room and it was spacious and cozy. The best part is the view from the room. We had a direct view of the castlereigh reservoir and there is nothing to beat that view. Simple breathtaking. Hotel also provide kayaking in the reservoir with a charge. there are also bicycles that we can use within the premises. Food is a bit on the expensive side better to book half board or full board basis. Overall one of the best hotels we stayed in the Dickoya area. We will definitely visit this place.

The Farm Resort is a hidden gem located near the Castlereagh Reservoir. The breathtaking views of the reservoir from your balcony are indescribable, making it a must-visit destination. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our experience was the exceptional butler service. A special shout-out goes to our butler, Mr. Ravindra, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. He provided us with amazing service and even babysat our toddler, allowing us plenty of time to relax. Mr. Ravindra also demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the resort. Additionally, Mr. Mahinda from the kayaking unit deserves recognition for his fantastic service during our kayaking experience. The entire staff should be commended for their outstanding service. The food at the resort was delicious and added to our overall enjoyment. **Plus points:** - Warm and friendly butler service - Breathtaking views - Excellent kayaking service **Negative points:** - The rooms and bathrooms could be considered a bit ordinary Overall, this resort is a haven for those seeking relaxation.

My first visit to The Farm Resort was an absolute delight and a pleasant surprise! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was coming home. The staff made me feel like part of the family, adding a special warmth to the entire experience. The food was outstanding, and the hotel itself was impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that created a serene and perfect setting. The customer service was exceptional, and I want to extend a special thanks to Mr. Rumiru, who provided some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. Our personal butler, Ravinda, was also incredible—his friendly and attentive approach made us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be returning to this lovely place, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect stay in the upcountry of Sri Lanka. Dickoya is one of the beautiful hidden gem in Sri Lanka . Farm resorts gave the best view from our room overlooking the Castlereigh reservoir. Stunning backdrop you wouldn’t need to miss . Ravindra , our butler was very supportive and friendly. He made sure all our requirements are met and was right behind us throughout our stay . Thank you so much Ravindra for your untiring efforts and for also being cheerful. We truly enjoyed a peaceful stay at Dickoya with a much needed weather . Rooms were really good and the food was on point too . Chef went out of his way to make a birthday cake for my sister, which was done in sucha short notice and it came really good than expected . The picnic was organized by Ravindra and his team and that was the perfect picnic overlooking the castlereigh . Sucha beautiful memory . So thankful for the team for making it colourful . The garden needs more maintenance as the surrounding is beautiful so the management needs to have a look into it thoroughly. Will definitely come back and i would highly recommend this amazing property !!

Amazing place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Castlereagh. One of the best places I've ever visited in Hatton. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. The rooms are spacious, clean and arranged nicely. Everything was superb. Mr. Nadeera our butler was friendly and helped us to make our stay a memorable one. Hope to visit again.
