Hotel on the edge of town , rather than noisy middle. Amazing views straight up the jungle clad river to the mountain! Wow! It is the Materhorn of Sri Lanka. Staff friendly with good information tips for walk. Superb breakfast after descending, with resaurant looking onto mountain = was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Well done Manu for your stand out service!

Nice a cozy accommodation at the foot of Adam's Peak, good food devoted personnel. Beautiful view from rooms. Provides also tour guides to climb the mountain. We were accompanied by very cheerful guy, and had a pleasant tour with him, unfortunately didn't get his name (he worked in Colombo before as a food delivery, the hotel can add his name here).

We stayed here for one night when climbing Adam’s Peak. The view from the restaurant is fantastic and the rooms are just fine. We asked for new sheets because ours had stains on them, and they changed them immediately. There were no ants or similar insects as there have been in many other hotels rooms we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. What made us write this positive review though, was the professionalism during check in and check out. A manager showed us the bill from the restaurant so we could double check ourselves. We paid by card and I inserted the card in the machine myself and clicked my pin code. We even got a receipt and a bank note! Normally in Sri Lanka they just take the credit card out of your hand and go somewhere in the back.

Honestly this is the best hotel in the area in every aspects. Highly recommend for those who are planning to hike/worship Sri Padaya mountain. Rooms were neat, tidy, spacious and having a balcony with amazing view of the sacred mountain. Also all sufficient basic amenities there for a comfortable stay. We have faced a little uncomfortable situation due to couple of limit crossed drunken guys in bar. But it was not a fault of the hotel neither staff. Staff was super amazing and did they best to make our stay comfortable. Have to mention that Mr. Mano made our stay so remarkable. Special credit goes to Mr. Mano and the team. Foods were really delicious and proper hygienic conditions were well maintained! Gave a 5 stars specially because of the hospitality!! Cheers!!

The hotel room was very clean. Beautiful view of Adam's peak from the room that we had. Staff was very accommodating, friendly kind and warm. Mano (if I remember right) cooked for us and the food was great. His friendliness was everything and we felt right at home. Located very close to the starting point of the Adam's Peak hike from Hatton (Nallathanniya) side. Good experience and If I go to that area again I would certainly consider booking them.

Stayed for one night when hiking the Adam’s Peak. Perfect atmosphere thanks to perfect staff! good meals especially meats. Basic accommodation but clean rooms with a perfect views. Bar with a pool board is a good option to try play with a local one. If you wanna feel local, Sri Lankan’s vibes that place is for you. Strongly recommended for those who wanna get to Adam’s Peak.

We had an one night stay at Wathsala Inn before climbing the holy Adam's Peak. It was a pleasant stay. We had a family room for five. It was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean. The view of the peak from the balcony was amazing. The manager, guys at the reception, dining hall and kitchen were excellent. 'Mano' the chef eas great, provided us with absolutely tasty food and great customer service. (We think the food was over priced though) Located in walking distance to Nallathanniya bus station. Good stay. Would recommend to friends and family 👍🏼 Keep up your good service 😃 They looked after our car until we come back after the climb, even after we checked out form the hotel. Thank you 👍🏼
