Hotels in Nuwara Eliya City Center, Nuwara Eliya District

We are family of three. Two adults and one child. We were given 2 single beds. My husband and child had to sleep on the floor. We couldn't put the beds together as it was fixed. Couldnt get another room as they were full. The room was overdone. Two dressing tables , two big arm chairs, dining table & chairs etc., big spacious room but too many furniture making it uncomfortable. When we informed the front office manager , he said it wont happen next time. Well, we are not too sure if qe wont to stay here though.

In Noir, the weather on the mountain is relatively cold. There is heating in the house, but the room facilities are a bit old. The hotel is very beautiful, with a British-style design, a green roof and white walls. It is very beautiful.

The location is very good, halfway up the mountain. The environment outside the window is very good. The room is relatively large, but the facilities are a bit simple. Slippers are not provided. Breakfast is ordered. The coffee needs to be improved. Others are OK.

The room is large and the furniture is simple. The bed is not very soft, I like this slightly harder mattress. The chef's breakfast and dinner are good and more suitable for Chinese appetite. There are also resident singers for dinner. The hotel is also convenient to Horton Plains, which is about 45 minutes by car.

The overall experience is very nice and the meals were top notch (compared to other hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka)! The room is cozy and overall vibe is nice too. It’s like an English bungalow. The only thing to comment was there was no table in the room, so we need to ask for one. Definitely recommend this one after tea garden tours.

The house is beautiful with lots of greenery. The breakfast was very rich. The guy is very nice, a little shy but has a warm smile. You can also use the kitchen. When I left, the guy also gave me a gift card. The only downside is the sound insulation. It is recommended to choose a room that is not on the roadside. We stayed in 2 rooms facing the road, and there was very loud music outside in the middle of the night (it seemed like the house opposite was having a party until after midnight). Not sure if it was normal or just that night. The noise of traffic is quite obvious, but after 12 o'clock, there is very little traffic and it has little impact. If it weren't for the music that night, it would have been fine overall.

The room is average, old. The room alone is not worth 1700. There is no need to spend money to stay here, you can walk in to the bar, Thai restaurant, Indian restaurant, afternoon tea, and you can pay with cash or credit card. You can enter all places by punching in. Many people come here to punch in and eat and then stay in other hotels. I think the hill club next door is a good substitute, they are all old houses anyway. Save 1000 yuan and do anything you want, rich people can do whatever they want. The black people here are completely different from the Chinese and white people. When white people check in, they will take you on a hotel tour and introduce you. The black person who took us to the room had a cold face the whole time, and of course I wouldn't give you the tip I prepared if you gave me a face. The hotel has a check-out time of 11 o'clock, please note this. I agreed to 12 o'clock, and he called me at 11:30 to ask me to check out, otherwise I would be fined 5000 rupees...haha
