"Old fashion, loose door locks, tv not working for the 3 nights, mattress gave me back pains, the dinner buffet is only one plate, fruits from the fridge. Even the staff look hungry and not motivated. The breakfast was good but their african tea tested bad. So if by bad luck you find yourself there. Avoid the african tea"

The Ark Lodge

"The ark is a niche hotel that is based off noah ark it is a little bit dated but did not mind this as the gimmick of staying there was good. The rooms are small and cramped but we only were in the room for small period of time, we spent the whole afternoon and late into the evening sat outside on the open deck. The staff are great and the decks are open 24/7 so you can sit outside and watch the wildlife long into the night. We got up 5am and enjoyed the sunrise over the watering hole. The food was okay and the resturant was a bit of a let down as we thought it would over look the watering hole but it didn't. Ibrahim gave us a private tour of the walkway and showed us some mongoose and bushbabies which was a good experience. Would stay there again, the outdatedness added to the experience."

"I so wanted to like this hotel. I really did. First of all there is no spa so they should really change the name. Second - music is blaring so loud it drives you crazy after a few hours. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Third - the food is abysmal. Breakfast was terrible although the cappuccino was good. I had over cooked omelette and sausages that were so over cooked I had trouble chewing. Honestly. The rooms are ok. No AC or fan and we had a lot of mosquitoes in our room. There is also ongoing construction on the site so there is a constant hum of concrete vibrating all day. The pizza is an insult to all Italians and the meatballs were like ball bearings. Am being honest - not trying to me funny. The price is not that much but I am not sure it’s worth the money to stay here. Sorry but people have to know."

"Nice garden, comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and clean bed sheets and towels. Avocado trees grows in the garden and the avocados tastes delicious. There are also apartments for whole families to rent. Quiet and peaceful area , close to Supermarket to shop."
