Hotels Near O2 Arena in Greenwich

The location is not easy to get to and no signs was available. The room was clean but outdated deco. The bedside USB sockets does not work, we have to charge our phones at the desk. The handwashing liquid, shampoo and conditioner were fixed too high and inconvenient location. The shower water pressure was too low. The breakfast was the worse experience I ever had in a Hotel. Very limited types of food available and ran out so quickly as soon as many guests but little food. Only one staff on duty for topping up food and one staff to clean tables. There were not enough tables and seats available. It was complete and utter chaos. A guest accidentally spilled a cup of porridge into another customer but there were no napkins to clean it up. I never seen such chaos. I would not recommend this hotel and never go again.

The hotel was reasonably priced. While it's a bit out of the city center, having a subway station right downstairs made getting around incredibly convenient and hassle-free. It's situated in a new development, with a fantastic pedestrian street below offering a large shopping mall, a supermarket, and numerous dining options. The hotel itself is also quite new. We didn't have any special requests, so we didn't interact much with the service staff, but the front desk was efficient and friendly, making check-in quick. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Seamless stay, very polite staff and great breakfast with fresh juices and a'la carte selection. Walking distance to metro station and Cable Car if yoy're heading to Excel.

I would recommend this hotel, especially because the rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in the same price range. Check-in was smooth even with a late arrival, which was a relief. Lovely hotel close to Excel London where I had a conference, just 10mins walk. The lady at the reception changed my room when I asked to be moved from the initial room that had a connecting door. The room had all the required amenities, a comfortable bed and a great view. Breakfast was satisfactory, a few fruits were available as well. The downside of the whole experience was that the bathroom drain was blocked, and I reported this when I checked out the following morning.

The Holiday inn express Greenwich is in a great location close to the 02 arena. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds, the shower and bathroom is very nice. Me and my wife had a lovely time staying for one night. Much nicer than the Travel Lodge. I booked this hotel because they said they have sauna and steam. However, I did not give them the full mark because the sauna and steam was a joke. First of all, the whole floor was smelly with the steam and sauna rooms very cold. We went to the reception and reported. The staff at the reception came to the floor with us and she couldn't stay for one minute because the smell was really very bad. She apologised and said she'll get the cleaners to clean the whole floor and she'll come and notify us so that we can go and use the facilities. We waited for over four hours but the staff did not come so we went out. On our return, after our dinner, we went to the reception and complained to another staff as the original staff we spoke to wasn't there. In the end, the floor was cleaned and we're now ready to use the sauna and steam, they have put it on, they said. However, on getting there, one good thing was that the whole floor was no longer smelly but the steam room was not functional, it was very cold there. Now we left there and went to the sauna room and met three women sitting there very disappointed as we were. They said they have been pouring buckets of water to generate some heat from the sauna and the whole floor was full of water due to leak. What a joke! There was no heat coming from the sauna. We left very disappointed, it was my birthday and I was looking for a hotel with sauna and steam so I could chill out and relax on my birthday. Novotel did not make it to happen for me and I was sad and disappointed. I felt Novotel spoiled my birthday for me but I scored them 4 out of 5 because I'm not cruel.

The location is pretty good, conveniently situated near Greenwich town center, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and dining options within easy reach. It's particularly convenient for those visiting the nearby Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the University of Greenwich. The Royal Observatory is also close by, roughly a 20-minute walk or an 8-10 minute drive. However, the hotel's facilities are quite basic and a bit dated. The room size was adequate, and the bathroom was rather standard. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, especially for a business trip.

Hotel room was a nice size for me and my family the pool was nice for the kids to swim in. We had the breakfast for two days which catered for all our needs and was presented really nicely. We ended up staying an extra night as was happy with the facilities For having children the location was a bit out of the way but I would say that was the only down side.

Highly recommended! Newly renovated, great location with public transport to iconic places and great staffs.
