Robinson Cottage ★★★★
"The cottage in Oatlands is in a great spot for travellers, especially if you’re driving. It’s spacious, fully equipped, and the bathroom is beautifully finished. The highlight of our stay was stepping outside at night and seeing the Milky Way stretching across the sky — truly unforgettable."
The Podium - Modern Cottage - Central Oatlands ★★★★
"Being able to have a pleasant trip to Tas in the tranquility of the small town of Oatlands! There is a whiskey distillery near the hotel, which is opposite the post office and is very easy to find."
Ratho Farm ★★★★
"We only stayed one night in early May 2026, but another night would have been better. We were in the Farrier Room with a king bed. Richard and Ros are excellent hosts. Richard showed us around on arrival and invited us to wander and see the cows and the rest of the property. We enjoyed seeing the black cow with her calf and the highland cow (Milly Moo, I think). In the evening we had pre-dinner drinks and cheese platter in the cosy homestead with another couple of guests, and Ros explained the history and read some interesting excerpts from old journals of the original settlers. We all went in to dinner and enjoyed the home-cooked meal and dessert. Had a lot of laughs that night and really enjoyed the easy-going camaraderie of Richard and Ros."
Elm Cottage Barn ★★★★
Whites Corner ★★★★
"Facilities were great for a cosy quiet weekend away. Host was friendly and made sure we were comfortable in this quirky historic property. Warm comfortable beds and good value for money. Just one bathroom, but we made it work. Extensive history of rural life in the 1880's revealed by the out-buildings."
