Lovely hotel in great location next to the Templo de Santo Domingo and other historical sites and restaurants / bars. Intimate hotel with only a few rooms, including delicious breakfast and very helpful staff. Rooms are big and clean. Highly recommend!

This hotel has everything we needed for our stay, all the staff are welcoming and accomodated our every needs without hesitation. If we go back in Oaxaca we will stay again in Casa Carmen. When we arrived our room has a problem but for resolved right away kudos to the team I really appreciate it. The breakfast was also superb!!

Casa Carmen was a beautiful place to stay. It is centrally located and walking distance to many parts of the city. The staff was Incredoblt hospitable and helped me to organize a taxi. I was traveling alone in the city and felt very safe at Casa Carmen. I would come back for the breakfast alone as the plate of fresh fruit was a highlight to my stay.

Casa Carmen Hotel is a beautiful place to stay in Oaxaca. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The design of the hotel is stylish, and our room was stunning—much larger than the average room in the area. Breakfast was another highlight, with a delicious menu and plenty of choice. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of comfort, charm, and genuinely warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Felt like home. Had a great experience there. The breakfast service was so convenient and the service of the staff was great as well. We did a spontaneous mezcal tour and a local cooking class, both organised by the hotel. They spoke really good englisch as well.

Best vibes of Oaxaca City Great location, comfy room (incl. bed and bathroom), amazing design, fantastic crew and super nice breakfast. The staff is super lovely and helps with anything. We loved everything — stayed in room “Amador”. Absolutely recommended!

We had an excellent stay. The service was phenomenal, the breakfast was particularly delicious, and the room was both comfortable and beautiful. The private outdoor patio was such a lovely added bonus and we enjoyed hanging out there daily both in the mornings and in the evenings. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My daughter and I loved our stay and Casa Carmen. This was our second time at a Casa Carmen property in Oaxaca. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious and the decor is beautiful. The location is so convenient. I 100% recommend this lovely property!
