Oyster Inn Connel

The room layout works, the inn seems popular with locals driving there for their meals. We had a comfortable stay.

The apartment was spotless and well-organized. Breakfast was served and it was absolutely delicious.

I can't tell you about my stay as I booked the wrong dates. As soon as I found out, I phoned The Oyster Inn to cancel but because I used Trip.com, they said there was nothing they could do. I cancelled on Trip.com and the message said that they'd contacted the hotel to confirm if it was ok to cancel FOC. According to trip.com, no response was forthcoming so my booking was not cancelled. My booking has since been "completed". When I contacted the hotel the following day to ask why they had not approved the cancellation, they said trip.com had simply asked for info, not to approve cancellation. Who is lying? Suffice to say, I will not use trip.com again and have decided to stay elsewhere in Oban.

Stayed for one night with a family. Very pleasant and welcoming staff, perfect dinner and breakfast. Very clean rooms. Would stay here again. Thank you

Fantastic location, shame we couldn't see the stunning view from our room but oh well. Found the pillows a little thin, but each to their own. Best Cullen skink I've ever tasted! Nice place, we'l go again the net time we're in the area.

The room could’ve been cleaner but the view was amazing. Not much going on in town so it was nice to have the bar and restaurant attached.

Most firm and uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on. Bathroom had a dreadful sickening smell and a leak (a little water on the floor)- room 8. The one thing I did like was the view, amazing view, but given the other things it was not worth £125 for just this view. Staff were very nice, bar was lovely with a nice selection of alcohol and the breakfast was very good- fresh selection of fruit, cereal, pastries, juices, toast and choice of hot option from the menu, e.g a roll, full cooked breakfast.

The location and parking were good. Room was a little on the small side. Would have been nice to have some net curtains on the ground floor to give some privacy from vehicles and pedestrians walking past whilst still being able to enjoy the view from the room. No comfortable seating in public areas. Good choice of breakfast options.

The room was spacious & clean, the breakfast was good, however the bathroom smelled terrible (like urine), and there was no cabinet, shelving or counter top to store any bathroom toiletries.
