"Had a really bad experience! The Hostel itself if fine, centrally located, big rooms with air-conditioning. But I had a staff member staying in the same 4 bed female room, and she was not suitable at all sharing room with others, terrorizing the rest of us. At my 3th day she was walking behind me an just yelling. I made a complaint about her to the reception. No change! My last night this person got up 1:30 in the night, started watching videos loudly waking us all up. When the lady above me addressed her about that, she went completely crazy and was yelling for half an hour. In the morning we 3 other woman went down to the reception to make our complaint together. There were plenty of other issues with her though out the hole week. I left home, one other person left the place even though she had paid for more night. To my understanding the hostel owner did nothing. I personally didn't get any "help" in this horrible situation: no new room, no apology, no arrangements for this staff member, no refund!"

"Great location,very central and convinient.Room was clean and well serviced,staff helpful when required and needed.Breakfast was ok,but did expect more,can improve. Reception area is under renovation,on completion am sure first impressions would be much improved.Overall good value for money,and would stay here again."

"Friendly staff, rooms are clean and spacious enough. Disadvantage is that there is no elevator it is very noisy in the rooms and the bed seemed like a plank. Breakfast must be indicated a day in advance no buffet so but an adjusted portion (what I do not know but I have not seen anyone eat there)"

One of the staff gave me some medicine for a bad virus that had me almost incapacitated. Wow! Worked CRAZY!!! She will ALWAYS be my friend for life. Stay here You will NOT wish stay anywhere else."

"I'm bulgarian but speaking in English for the tourists. I went here with my mom and the experience was awesome. The receptionist, I think his name was Rado, was very nice and welcoming not only to us, but also to everyone else. He showed us where our room was and even gave me free candy. At one point my mom got a headache due to having low blood pressure and Rado gave her pills to make her head stop hurting. When we went inside our room I was amazed of how it looked. The bathroom was literally better than the one we have at home. The only downside was that it smelt like smoke but that was due to the window being open. I would recommend this hotel."

"We had a brilliant time in Varna and City Boutique Inn was the perfect spot to enjoy it all from. Maggie runs an absolutely immaculate, friendly, homely operation. The bed is the comfiest I have ever slept on that isn't my own. Smart TV meant we could log in to Netflix etc. The air conditioning offers perfect climate control, the kitchenette had a small fridge, pans, cutlery, a 2 ring hob, plates, a corkscrew, scissors, a decent knife, chopping board etc. The shower was lovely, a spacious cubicle with both a large rain fixed head, and a handheld hose. We had a freestanding tub, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and cotton wool pads etc. Breakfast downstairs was a lovely continental spread with Bulgarian touches. Taking shoes off and swapping for slippers actually made the place feel more like home, tho its clean enough to walk barefoot too. Maggie had the best recommendations for places to eat, helped arrange Reservations, organised a tour for us to visit the stone forest and the Aladzha monastery. The location is a short walk from the beach, has shops and restaurants nearby and is near bus stops and the train station. What a remarkable stay we had in Varna, thank you so much Maggie. I don't usually feel sad to be leaving somewhere but I definitely wanted to stay and will be back sometime! "
