"This was our first time at the Aktivhotel Waldhof, and certainly not our last. The staff were consistently incredibly friendly and accommodating! You could tell that every single employee was truly passionate about their work! We were especially impressed that the children's water park had recently been expanded. "Great place but disgusting food, and can't even get food most of the day. Apart from the food and over focus on family, the place was nice. The staff were all incredibly hospitable and kind. Guest service was truly excellent. Most importantly the place is in a beautiful setting and the property itself is nice. The pool area was incredibly comfortable and better than I wan anticipating. Drinks to relax by the pool and lunch service would be really nice. Could easily just relax at the resort for the day then. The town and area itself, is awesome. I couldn't have enjoyed myself more. I had truly that much fun. There so many fun activities in the summer and the nature breathtaking. Rooms were perfectly clean but they gave me a room two feet from the shrub fence next to the road. This happens to single travelers all the time. When their isn't an option to pay for a view, we never get the view, although in reality we pay more than a family or couple. Often they think a single guy won't care, that's not true if it's not a bluecollar guy or some young backpacker. People should not be rewarded for relationships or for breeding. Also I ordered salami and cheese plate after a day of a lot activity at 4:30 and at 5 I had to cancel, it never came. They told me you know how cook are. They should fire the kitchen, the steak the previous night before was horrible served with mixed veggies they serve in hospital or on flight, the breakfast selection in only ok and the eggs were the worst I have ever had in my life, burnt flat scrambled eggs, yuck. I would consider returning next summer, the food issue wasn't enough to keep me from the enjoying the place and it's great staff."

"We spend a wonderful week in das Jägerhof with our 2 children. The room was very clean and pleasant. The meals in the evening were cooked very pure and delicious, quite a lot as well. And we surely enjoyed the outstanding wine card. This hotel is run by the whole family , which is lovely to see. On Christmas eve we had an aperitive on the terrace with everyone , even with a small singing session! Super."

"Without exaggerating, I think this was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed! Everything is designed to make you feel at home. The apartment is extremely clean and fully equipped, with an electric cooktop, oven, microwave, capsule coffee machine, kettle, and dishwasher. You’ll find everything you could possibly need in the kitchen: dishes, cutlery, flower vases, pots, strainers, dishwashing liquid (including for the dishwasher), coffee cups, mugs—truly everything. You don’t need anything at all except food, if you feel like cooking. As a welcome treat, we found some pasta and tomato sauce, which we prepared on our first evening—excellent! Thank you very much, MYALPS! On ground floor - a very good idea—the late check-out rooms: they have a separate toilet and a bathroom with a toilet and shower, with towels and everything you need if you want to check out of the room (at 9:30) and leave later. You can still go around town for souvenirs and spices—there’s a great shop right across from the hotel. On the first floor, there’s a laundry area with washing machines, dryers, drying racks, detergent, and everything you need to wash and dry your clothes. On the third floor, there’s a wine bar and a sauna. Parking is secure and located underground, with access using your room card. Right across the street, there’s a very well-stocked supermarket where you can find anything you need. Next door, just as you step out and turn left, there’s a bakery with delicious options for coffee, fresh bread, sandwiches, and drinks if you prefer to enjoy them outside the hotel. The area is full of great restaurants and shops for souvenirs or mountain and ski equipment. The staff is extremely kind and always happy to help and give recommendations. Be sure to ask at reception—they offer various discount packages for restaurants and activity centers. We got tickets to the Aqua Dome thermal spa with a 10% discount, as they are partners. What more can I say? I could go on forever! It was perfect—honestly, it doesn’t deserve 5 stars, but 10 out of 5! Congratulations to the entire team—we had a wonderful stay that went by far too quickly. We will definitely be back!"
