"SHAME ON YOU"S!!! Fancy taking payment for 2 penthouse apartments, greeting all our family then several hours later, in the dark, insisting on a head count and everyone being told they had to leave!!!! Yes they ended up 1 person over, offered to pay for the error but were rudely refused due to wear and tear. Didn't care that our niece was going to sleep in a car with her infant and young son!!! Despicable behaviour from these managers after our family travelled over 300kms and paid $1800!!!! Being a local I will be encouraging everyone I know to boycott this rubbish establishment, and we definitely WILL NOT be using this accommodation in November or ever!!!!"

"Tidy, clean, stayed in the studio, beneath the owner's house at rear. Very handy to a lovely beach, excellent chairs and firepit on beachside for guests use. Adequate parking at rear of units for a car also. No direct view of the beach from the studio Proprietor friendly and helpful. Parking for units is directly outside the units, ideal if you have motorcycles Owner requests that all used dishes be washed and put away."

"We stayed at the Beach point for 3 night room 420(i think). a beautiful appt. looking straight out over the beach and Bay of Plenty. The hosts where friendly and checkin a breeze as we were given a choice of 2 rooms a nice surprise,The beach was just across the rood and local cafes and resturants with walking distance. A short 6 min. drive into Whakatane for all the main grocery stores and facilities. The appt. was clean and extremely comfortable. Beautiful furnishings and well equipt kitchen, dinging room, lounge room, great bathroom and bedroom, washer, dryer. Large balcony with outdoor table and chairs and sun lounges. Just great would stay again if in Ohhope. Thank you Wendy"
