Chantico Inn ★★
"We checked in during the evening on a weekend. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that we had to pay an additional daily resort fee, even though our booking on Trip.com clearly showed that all taxes and fees had already been paid. Since it was already late and finding another hotel wasn’t practical, we decided to stay. The front desk did upgrade our room, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room was very outdated and had a constant unpleasant sewage smell. The bed didn’t appear very clean, and the bathtub was broken and unusable. To make matters worse, there were quite a few small bugs in the bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant. The towels and bath towels were old and worn out as well. Another major issue was that the windows had no blackout curtains. The room became very bright early every morning, making it impossible to sleep well. We came here for intensive tennis training, so getting enough rest was important, but we were woken up far too early every day. Considering the price we paid, this hotel did not offer good value for money. There are definitely much better options available at the same price point."
Ojai Valley Inn ★★★★★
"Very good, the front desk has a taxi service, good environment, convenient"
Ojai Retreat & Inn ★★★
"Thanks to the clean rooms and friendly staff, I had a comfortable time. The facilities are well maintained and the location is great, so I would like to visit again. I liked the quiet atmosphere."
Hummingbird Inn ★★
"I paid too much when I made the reservation, and when I found out, the hotel refunded my money on site, which was particularly satisfying. The wireless network signal is simply great, and watching videos is smooth. It is much better than the casa hotel next door. The water temperature for raining is not good, it's too cold. No breakfast, just simple coffee. The room is larger"
Casa Ojai Inn ★★
"This is a unique inn, and I was particularly pleased with the service, which was more welcoming than a hotel. We had a lot of heavy luggage, and fearing the local area might be unsafe, we had to take it all to the room and didn't dare leave it in the car. We specifically requested a first-floor room because there's no elevator on the second floor. Customer service was helpful in arranging a first-floor room. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and it's a national park, though it's closed. There's a supermarket in a small town not far away, with affordable prices and quite convenient. There are also some small restaurants nearby, including some Japanese food."
Ojai Rancho Inn ★★
Caravan Outpost ★★★
"The place was great. The kids love it. Clean and everything was working well. I would definitely go back."
The Capri Hotel ★★
"The room was nice. You can tell it was designed with great care. It's a popular hotel. But the bedding and towels were very cheap. The quilt made a loud plastic sound when it turned over. The front desk was not very professional either. They were either chatting or drinking."
Su Nido Inn ★★★★
"My experience at this hotel was disappointing. While The room and hotel were beautiful the lack service made it the worst experience. We had no hot water for 2 days. When I complained the first day, front desk agent said it was because of the amount of the hotel guests. I thought is was odd but did not push the issue. We will just try to shower at a different time. After múltiples attempts to take a hot shower on the second day. The agent did not find my problem an issue. Just simple said to try at a different time. Nothing they can do. Shocking experience did not even offer an apology. I would not ever stay there again. I understand problems happen but is whet we do to take care of the guests that makes a different. Use your money in hotel that cares, stay away from this one."
