"Excellent stay again, we enjoy the comfort, great atmosphere and welcome. Breakfast is very good, beds and rooms also very good. Make sure to book an evening meal if Alex is cooking, really great food, varies every time, I can highly recommend the Langoustine in Filo absolutely exceptional. Traditional Spanish village, Bars and restaurants, evenings spent in square are thoroughly enjoyable."

"A beautiful castle built on a hill. I was a little nervous about the steep slope leading up to the trip, but when I arrived I was moved by the beautiful old castle that looked like something out of a fairy tale. It was about a 30 minute drive from Malaga Airport and about an hour and a half drive from Granada. The taste and service of dinner from the rooftop with a great view is excellent. The recommended Ronda red wine was also delicious."

"It is a nice hotel out in the nature (surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nieves) near town Istán. The hotel is reasonable and provides all necessary things for a fine stay in southern Spain. The only that I found disturbing was the fact the in four nights I slept there, in no single day the towels were changed. From a hygienic point of view, it is very important to meet this (basic) standard. I can understand if it happened one day. But all the four days is too much and does not contributes to a fine stay nor experience. Unfortunately, not a good experience."

"Lovely cute house. Just make sure you take taxi to arrive and not Uber as you will have to drag your luggage a long way to the hotel. Just that we happened to have a lot of luggages, that was not fun. But location is great, in the old town, cute and safe and clean. You can always walk down to the seaside and walk all the way to the best area in Marbella. Helpful staff. Wonder city to visit."
