I had a great stay at Kamp Housman cho Backpacker hostel! The neighbourhood was calm and cute

The location was good. No elevator. It might be difficult if you have a big luggage. There is free 1 welcome drink.

I mean it was good .. everything was perfect...only thing which was creating a problem was that one guest was eating food inside the room which was not allowed...and the noise of chewing and smell of the food was nuisance

the vibe is great and it was a great stay for me it was also close to the station so i did nit had a hard time on fetching rides.

The bedroom is on the second floor and thereis a mini bar on the first floor. Cozy but a little bit cold because we slept on a tatami. Thank you

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but given the distance, I have no complaints. Check-in was a bit confusing; I had to ask around a bar-like area and be guided to a nearby building. The room was perfectly normal, but the only downside was that there was no bathroom unless I went down to the first floor.

Honestly, I didn't even want to give it one star. This is the first time I've given a bad review after going to Japan over ten times. The venue didn't provide Wi-Fi, leaving guests to find their own. I stayed two nights, and the manager and staff completely failed to resolve the network issue, and their attitude was quite poor. I don't believe that if they were truly committed, they wouldn't have been able to resolve it in three days and two nights. This is one of your expected services; if I didn't receive it, shouldn't you refund my money? Furthermore, on the morning of the third day, I found a cockroach on my bed. I was so scared that I threw it on the floor before I could take this picture. The hygiene was appalling.

It's very convenient to stay here when I transfer to an early flight from Narita Airport to Shikoku. It's a small area but I don't feel cramped. I'm quite satisfied with it. Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are provided. There were few people when I stayed there, so it was quite quiet.

The dormitory is perfect for solo travelers. On the day I stayed there, most of the guests were foreigners, but I was able to have fun interacting with them and have a great time!

While the price was reasonable, it was a bit far from the station, which was a bit inconvenient. Furthermore, many of the surrounding businesses had closed, making dining and other things a bit inconvenient.

This is my second visit to this youth hostel. If I come to Okayama next time, I will still choose here. The transportation is convenient. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the station. Because it is close to the station, it is convenient to eat and go shopping.

Nestled in a residential area, Kamp exudes an artsy vibe from afar. The reception area downstairs is a cafe offering drinks and meals, so residents can easily come down to enjoy coffee, work, or chat with the staff. I stayed in a side building, requiring a flight of stairs to reach the restrooms, but overall it was quite nice. There might be a bit limited space for packing luggage, and no lockers are provided. There's also a shared living room on the first floor for cooking and working. A welcome addition is the availability of washing machines and dryers. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Nice hostel but very small spaces. In the bathroom not even a chair to put things down and the cleaning was not optimal.

This is a hostel on the 2nd floor, on the 1st floor there is a restaurant and a bar, but they close at 11:00 PM, so you can sleep peacefully. There is nothing in the room except futons and air conditioning. The common areas are very clean, there is a shared kitchen. The toilet and shower are clean. Towels are paid, 200 yen. There is one free drink upon arrival, the receptionist is very nice and speaks good English.
