Okayama Koraku Hotel

The room was great! There's art by the elevator on every floor, and the hotel is right on the pedestrian street, with a subway station just a stone's throw away. Dining and shopping are super convenient, and it's not far to Korakuen Garden and Okayama Temple on foot either!

The hotel's location is excellent, with a small river right outside and a nice view. It's right on a street full of restaurants, and there's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore downstairs. While the prices weren't amazing, it was convenient for buying water and such. There's a Comeda Coffee nearby, and you can reach the side entrance of Takashimaya in about a 7-minute walk. Next to it, there's an escalator that leads to an underground passage connected to Okayama Station. We arrived at the hotel at noon, before check-in time, and the front desk staff were very friendly. We quickly dropped off our luggage and went out to explore. When we returned to check in, we were informed that our luggage had already been sent to our room – big thumbs up! The triple room had enough space to open all our suitcases simultaneously. Housekeeping was done according to our needs, not just every few days. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely book this hotel again if we have the chance. There's also a little cutie in the hotel lobby.

Overall, my stay was quite good. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were all from Pola. The hotel also offers complimentary bath towels, facial cleansers, and more on the first floor, which is a nice touch. 👍 The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from JR Okayama Station. There's a pharmacy downstairs, and the walk from JR Station to the hotel is lined with restaurants. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient; you can walk to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden, or take public transport as the station is very close to the hotel. All in all, the transportation is quite convenient.
