Hito Naka ★★★
"The hotel check-in instructions weren't clear enough. I had to go to another hotel a 6-minute walk away. There were no staff members at the entrance, but luckily, some friendly locals helped me call and ask."
Oki Plaza Hotel ★★★
"Gosh, where do I start with this glowing review?? The stunning views? The onsen? The strikingly beautiful kaiseki dinners? The kind staff? This place has it all, folks—complete and utter home run. Didn't want to leave, and next time I'm in Okinoshima I'll have to come back!"
Hotel Uneri ★★★
"The facilities are cheap and the location is great!"
Oki Seaside Hotel Tsurumaru ★★
"We didn't have a car, so it was convenient and very grateful in front of the bus stop. Because the sea was in front of me and the hotel owned the ship, the sashimi and the bubble princess for dinner were eaten in the tempo, and even Oki beef was eaten ❗️ The bath was also unusual in the shape of a wooden ship, and the master was happy with 々. The staff was kind and offered me a shellfish instead of a plate, which was a great satisfaction."
Ryokan Matsuhama ★★
"It's about a 10-minute walk from Saigo Port. There are restaurants nearby, so finding food wasn't a problem. However, the inn's dinner looked delicious, so I'm thinking of booking a room with dinner included next time."
Kunigaso ★★
"Unfortunately, this establishment does not live up to the prices it charges. It is very run-down (in a dilapidated state in some areas). It's probably no coincidence that you can't find any photos of the common areas or bathrooms anywhere on booking sites or on the hotel's website. There was an unpleasant, hard-to-place smell in the hallways, as well as in the room where I stayed. The air conditioning in my room was old and made a deafening noise, and was full of dust built up over years. No hot water on the first day, and very low water pressure. I live in Japan and speak Japanese, which allows me to compare prices knowledgeably: the meals are very expensive and don't match their price. The thoroughly unremarkable Japanese breakfast, charged at 1,500 yen, can be found elsewhere for equivalent quality at 800 yen. No coffee was offered; I eventually got one made for me (tasting like UCC instant coffee) upon request, without being told it would later be charged at 400 yen. Dinner was charged at almost 5,000 yen. Again, you can find the same (mediocre) quality for half the price elsewhere. As for the service, the owner (the only man seen among the staff) was quite rude and not befitting of a hotelier. No greeting or word of welcome, whether upon arrival or throughout the rest of my stay. Only the female staff showed any degree of warmth or consideration. In short, this is an establishment that would benefit from renovation, better maintenance, a welcoming atmosphere worthy of a hotel, and improved food, in order to justify the prices it charges."
Okinoshima Resort Island Park Hotel ★★
"It was ok.."
Hotel Nochi ★★★
Entô ★★★
"The hotel was beautiful The scent of the wood was nice and healed."
