Great value for money! While not 5 star, everything is great for a short stay and the location is close to Heathrow. [Latest check-in is 10pm.] Buffet style breakfast was excellent - all you need to set you up for the day!! [We didn't have the evening carvery as arrived late.] Thanks

We booked an overnight stay and had a wonderful time. From the warm welcome right to the checkout. All the staff were lovely but have to mention Victoria and Ken their customer service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

We visited on a Wednesday evening the restaurant was quite busy . Not enough staff on duty waited 10 mins to be acknowledged at the bar then waited again to be seated 15 mins. The restaurant as a whole needs a full refurbishment as it looks extremely tired . The food was ok but the serving station was not kept clean & tidy probably due to lack of staff

Enjoyed my veg tart it was delicious. The vegetables were nice too. We got a discount through the app too. It was a pleasant evening however the waiter did mix up my sisters dessert order. This was my first time at a Toby, I enjoyed it however we did have to wait to get our table.

Visited here on a Sunday evening. We were walk ins and staff asked if we had booked and then scoured the booking sheet. It wasn’t busy and it was like the member of staff was making a point that we hadn’t booked. We chose a carvery, this was mediocre at best. We waited several minutes for the server to come out, despite a member of staff telling him we were waiting. Other than the turkey, the other meats were scrag ends, left drying out under the lamps. Eventually the server came out. What a joy he was! Carved up the meat and threw it on the plates, grunting in monosyllabic conversation. Poor portion sizes compared to other carveries. It’s not right that people having the dried up end of joint pay the same price as those who have some of the freshly cooked joints. The veg was tasteless and unseasoned. Worst cauliflower cheese I have eaten! Kids had clearly been at the Mac and cheese which was all over counter and floor drying out. We cracked on and ate as we were hungry, the food is edible but boring. To be fair the young girl waiting our table was pleasant to deal with. A visit to the ladies before we left shocked me. These toilets are disgusting! Three of them had no seats on them, one seat was just thrown on the floor. There was no toilet paper, one was blocked, there was water all over the floor and they hadn’t been checked or cleaned for hours. Filthy and not something you would expect in a chain that charged £15 for a school canteen meal. The whole restaurant is tired, carpet looks grubby, the cordon to control the queue was knocked over and just left with people walking over it. Won’t be returning anytime soon and has put me off the brand as a whole.

In the area to visit friends. Would highly recommend. Staff are next level, especially Annalise, went above and beyond for our group. Yes the place is showing signs of wear but very reasonably priced and spotless, with great value food options.

The position of this hotel is excellent for visiting Windsor, having a bus stop is directly outside the hotel entrance. However we were very disappointed that during our two night stay we were unable to use our shower at all. The temperature dial didn't alter the temperature of the water ,which was blisteringly hot regardless of where the dial was placed. We had driven for 3 hours to get to the hotel, after a 12 hour shift at work and both felt desperate to shower. We complained within an hour of arriving that we couldn't use the shower, but no alternative was offered. We complained again in the morning ,but with timed tickets to visit the Castle we had no option but to go out and trust that the shower would be fixed before our return as promised. I said we would happily change rooms if it couldnt be sorted. That evening we returned and found no change so I mentioned it to the duty manager again. We decided to go to eat while the manager went to the room to see what could be done,he returned saying that the shower was now working properly. We went to our room feeling tired after a long day of walking to find no change, and no safe way to shower with the dangerously hot water. At breakfast we mentioned it again but the staff were clearly run off their feet and seemed short staffed, the shower remained unaltered. At breakfast we found the start time meant we had to waiting 20 mins for them to set up ,and only the basics were on offer, therefore the next day we went down an hour before the end of breakfast instead only to find they had runout of most items. We can only assume there is a 20 min window where you can see a full selection breakfast item. We left after our 2 night stay to go home for a shower. We really wanted to like the hotel but it was let down with the shower and food availability. I have complained repeatedly by email and telephone every fews weeks since we spent £189 on our 2 night stay in March. Finally a few weeks ago, and after my persistence they offered us a £50 voucher in recompense.
