Recently renovated, the room was really clean and comfortable. Very close to a path down to the beach, great for little ones.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to a number of issues affecting cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. We asked to be moved to another room because ours overlooked the car park and access road, but despite our request, no one ever responded. Housekeeping also arrived at random times, and the standard of cleaning was poor. Cleanliness was a major concern, with ants in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, along with stains on the walls and rug. The facilities were very basic. There were no complimentary tea, coffee, or bottled water provisions, the basement gym had an unpleasant smell, and the layout of the ground-floor apartments offered very little privacy as they faced the internal access corridor. One of the bedrooms was very dark due to window facing into the dark corridor. The bathroom lacked an extractor fan, making it extremely hot and steamy after showering. The shower pipe became dangerously hot to touch, the towels were very small, and there was not enough poor-quality single-ply toilet paper provided for the number of guests. Other inconveniences included an entry barrier that required the driver to get out of the car to enter a code and unreliable Wi-Fi that constantly disconnected. Overall, this accommodation fell well below our expectations and does not reflect the price nor the number of 'stars' advertised. We requested a later check-out due to our late flight. Although the initial response suggested some flexibility, reception ultimately refused, stating that the policy did not allow it. The only alternatives offered were luggage storage and use of the gym shower. Given the four-hour gap between check-out and check-in, we felt that a one-hour extension was a reasonable request, but no flexibility was shown.

First class reception staff our JET2 flight/transfer had been delayed and husband rang reception and spoke to a lovely lady who gave instructions and photos of how to access our apartment after midnight when the reception closed. Amazing views from the balcony of the sea and pool 2nd floor No 17. Lift to 2nd floor. Apartment very clean, bathroom had a good sized shower cubicle, no matter the time of the day everyone had a hot shower with good water pressure, bathroom towels included, a normal hairdryer which could be moved and used in any room very handy. One double bedroom had a full length mirror, access to the balcony and clothes storage unit, second double bedroom had a safe in the clothes storage unit. Double sofa bed in lounge area was excellent, table and four chairs two stools and access to the balcony. Small kitchen not a lot of food preparation space and nowhere to store any food as all cupboards/drawers full of crockery, glasses, cutlery, toaster, utensils, chopping board etc. Microwave ,fridge with tiny freezer inside, small hob, kettle, coffee machine, good enough for our stay. Aircon did work well was a little noisy during the night as we are light sleepers. Only thing missing was a clothes airer to dry wet towels and costumes but not a problem for us as we always bring our own travel clothes line and pegs but one would have been easier. Apartment cleaned every other day by very friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool not heated but on a hot day was nice to cool down. Sunbeds, a couple of times all taken but usually enough for everyone. Only four permanent sun parasols the rest of the shade by trees in the garden possibly could do with more parasols in the sunny areas of the garden so more sunbeds could have the option of shade. Pool was cleaned twice during our 6 day stay. Snacks could be ordered from bar and served at pool area. An area near the pool has comfortable seating with parasols . Intermarche 10 minutes walk away. Nice walk into Olhos D Agua with plenty of restarants and bars. Used Ubers to visit Vilamoura and Alburfeira. Small beach close by but did get very crowded.

We had a lovely stay at Clube Maria Luisa. We were surprised at how quiet the complex was considering it was peak summer holidays. Tucked away at the end of a residential road. Even at midday there were still pool beds available (see pictures). This may have been because there is a lovely beach pretty much on the door step. The complex was very clean with rooms and pool cleaned every day. Some of the pool beds could do with replacing and they could do with some more sun umbrellas but shad under the trees could be found. The intermarche shop was a 10 minutes walk via a pedestrian route. A nice selection of bars/restaurants about 15/20 mins easy pavement walk. The cliff walk was closed due to a land slide which I am unsure they will be able to re-open. Uber was also cheap to other areas. As for the apartment itself this was the most modern apartment we have started at in Portugal. However, we did find the lounge/kitchenette and balcony to be on the small side. We are a family of 4. There was one sofa that sits 3. The kitchenette had no storage for dry foods. As a result we had to use the table which meant using the table was difficult. The balcony had a small table and chairs which were not comfortable to relax on and overlooked the car park. The bedrooms were of a good size but again limited storage. The wardrobe had built in Drawers but as a shorter person I found these to be at an awkward height. They could do with a dressing table. The staff were very friendly. We had drinks snacks from the bar in the day but during our 2 week stay we did not see people eating/drinking in the bar resultant area. I think people tended to go out. Plenty of parking if you have a car and very secure. Overall a lovely stay and we would recommend

The hotel is in a quiet area, but in 5minutes you are on the beach with a great restaurant. The pool at the hotel was nice, breakfast was great and whilst not many many choices, it had a bit of all the basic things you could ask for. The food was great, loved the coffee and the pastries, fresh fried eggs, fresh orange juice and fruit. The rooms were nice, spacious and cleaned every day. We were in a room on second floor with a noce sea view. If we ever had to come back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Staying at clube maria luisa was an unforgettable experience, great memories were made here with friends. The staff was really comprehensive at all times, the rooms very spacious and clean. I reallu recommend this hotel!!

The experience was great, the staff took care of us from the first moment. Sergio specially, he always answered our questions. The rooms were really clean and the pool was perfect

This hotel is the best one i’ve ever been ever. The room is so clean and good looking, also, the cleaning ladies are so nice and kind. The treatment was great. Especially Sergio was really helpful every time we needed it.

We had the a wonderful time at Clube Maria Luisa. A lobely beach just minutes away,be prepared for the climb back up the stairs after your visit. Immaculate grounds. Well equipped rooms. Lots of veey good restaurants and an Intermache 10 minutes away.

Just back from a weeks holiday staying at this apartment complex. Maria Luisa is not far from a lovely beach. The shops are a bit further but you can easily walk to them via road or along a lovely beach path. The apartment was lovely and clean also equipt with everything you need really. The staff were exemplary, we needed help on a few minor issues and they went out of their way to help us. All in all it was a lovely stay in a fantastic area. Would go back without hesitation. Thank you Maria Luisa for making our holiday so lovely.

Wonderful hotel near the beach! Good breakfast and lunch! An amazing experience! Excelent experience for families with kids! We trully recomand it!!!

Myself and two friends stayed for five nights. On arrival we were greeted by Sergio who made us feel welcomed the minute we arrived. He suggested we go down to the beach across the road as our room wasn’t quite ready and he’d call when it was, which was only half a later. He showed us to our two bed apartment which was excellent, very clean and comfortable. One bedroom had patio doors out on to the terrace which was wonderful as you didn’t have to walk around through the lounge. The apartment itself was a great size for the 3 of us and well maintained. If we needed anything you could WhatsApp reception. The pool area was ok with enough sun beds but the pool is not heated and very cold, also it was a little dirty at the bottom. Sergio made our stay though and was always there for a friendly chat and always helpful. Be careful if you are with Jet2 Holidays, the pick up point said up the road at The Marvela Hotel but it went to Clube Maria Luísa and Sergio called us and rode with mini bus to find us 😁

Myself and 2 friends have just spent 5 nights in Club Maria Lucia. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were met on arrival by Sergio. What a pleasant and wonderful young man. He made our holiday extra special, thank you 😊
