The over water villas are incredible, it feels like a luxurious tree house! I went for my honeymoon and had the best time — from being greeted upon arrival by all the directors and our guest experience manager (we had Bruce!!) to the amazing food serving different cuisine at each restaurant, to the spa and daily activities to the amazing beaches and surfing. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to bring our kids here one day. Prices were also very reasonable compared to other luxury resorts

The whole place was amazing from the Gem, staff accommodation and food. I would highly recommend if you want a laid back friendly island nothing was too much bother. Definitely upgrade to the high food and drink package as it will be expensive paying individual for stuff.

Happy every single minutes. We were lucky to have Sinah as our GEM, he always appeared at the perfect time, answered every question, and made everything feel so seamless. Breakfast was a highlight every day. Big shoutout to Srini who created amazing pancakes. Our villa was spotless. Huge thanks to the housekeeping team who made everything feel crisp, fresh, and perfect each day. And we can’t forget the warm, wonderful team: Shiunee, Naail, Hassan, Lawrence, Joe, and Mayuri you all made us feel truly cared for.

Staying at Laamu was magical! My Gem Abdulla were incredibly friendly and attentive. The overwater villa offered breathtaking ocean views and was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, and the beach was picture - perfect. Activities like snorkeling added to the fun. A dream vacation!

We went to Six Senses Laamu for a family holiday at the beginning of April 2025. It really is the most amazing place and there is absolutely nothing I could fault. The staff were attentive, the food delicious, our villa was simply stunning. I have to mention our GEM Faudi who was just the best. Nothing was a problem, he was always available and sorting all sorts of trips, dining experiences and events. If you go definitely ask for him as your GEM! Thank you to everyone at Six Senses Laamu for making our holiday such a memorable one.

Everything I hoped for and more. The resort is beautiful, the sea wonderful and full of incredible wildlife, the food fantastic, the dive centre as friendly and as slick as you could imagine, and the staff amazing all round. A special mention should be made for Faudi, our GEM. He was incredible. Super friendly, super helpful, and sorted all our demands quickly and efficiently and with zero hassle. A real bonus to the hotel. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had-we’ll be returning as soon as we can!
