"We drove to Olite from Valencia to visit the amazing castle there. This hotel is a short 3 block walk from the entrance. The enterior of the hotel is new in with an elevator. Since it is in the center of old town,on street freeparking is hard to find."

Parador de Olite ★★★

"This is an excellent Parador in a former royal palace, right in the centre of a picturesque town. It is located on the main square and easy to find. The reception staff were very helpful and the rooms were fully up to Parador standards. The standard Parador menu was well cooked and presented. In the morning, there was the customary Parador breakfast buffet with hot dishes available to order (included) One drawback is the parking. This is in a public carpark (unsecure) about half a mile away; if the car park is full, which it was on this occasion, there is another public car park somewhat further from the hotel. Failing that, you have to park in the street. The own itself is very attractive but the main attraction is the Parador."

The rooms are lovely well appointed and comfortable.  The restaurant in the hotel is atmospheric with great Spanish food.  Breakfast is continental, but good quality.  The staff are lovely - helpful and friendly Near by free car parking 2 minutes away There is a great roof top terrace"
