There are not a lot of options for places to stay at /near Monument Valley but The View hotel is almost certainly the best. Not to sound pointless, but the view out you balcony is spec-tac-ular! I mean drop dead gorgeous beautiful. The rest of the hotel is very very good, but they named the place correctly. The hotel is within the Navejo Nation. This is perfectly fine. Everyone was exceedingly nice. We visited at a slow time, I worry how overwhelmed the place gets in the hyper tourist season. But even then I bet everyone will be nicer at The View then probably all other places. Oddly, I would say the pictures on their website don't give the place enough justice or they had just updated a lot of the hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Premium View Suite. The room was spacious, well equipped and located on the end of the building. The view was amazing. The buffet breakfast was best at 0700 when the crowds were manageable. The hotel staff were friendly, the room service efficient and the location unrivalled. We did the Valley Loop Road which was a great experience, however in our opinion completely unsuited to relatively low clearance sedans. We ended up hiring a Jeep for the trip and it was expensive but perfect. Think 2025 model vehicle with 700 miles on the odometer. The hotel provides parking which appears to be secure.

Obviously, the 'view' is spectacular. Cabin was very cute. kitchen was nice to have, but didn't have any cups/utensils, etc, thankfully we brought our own. Check-in lady was nice and accommodating. Beware, the pillows are the worst I can ever remember having. Had a very hard time sleeping. The bed wasn't awesome either... The bunk beds were a hit with the kids, but the metal ladder was very loud.

We stayed in one of the premium cabins on March 14th. We arrived at 9:00 pm. I didn't think we'd see anything from our cabin that night because it was so dark, but the full moon illuminated the wispy clouds and silhouetted the buttes in way that was mystical, bigger than life, breath taking, and spiritual. The next morning, we set our alarm to watch the sunrise behind the buttes. I can't describe properly how beautiful, holy, and powerful Monument Valley is. I will say the staff is so kind, accommodating, and we received excellent customer service. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had king bed for us and bunkroom for the kids. The cabin did not have a tv (which was fine with us), but did have a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. After the sunrise we did the Monument Valley drive which you access from the property and explored. It's a family memory I will cherish forever. I recommend this property to anyone, although those with mobility issues may find the cabin's a little challenging because there are stairs. 5 stars. Bucket list experience in monument valley.

Great room with great views. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate for our family. The attached gift shop and visitor center were a bonus. We will recommend The View to hotel to others.

Very tidy room, comfortable bed. Wake up before sunrise and you will see the best view you will ever see in your life. Just DO NOT eat at The View Restaurant! Bathroom was nice, comfortable temperature in October. Nice little balcony to have morning coffee. Coffee maker in room, tv, etc. Room was quiet both nights, but could hear snorer in next room.

We stayed at The View Hotel in Monument Valley the night before we made the 17 mile loop drive. You have to be at the gate for the loop drive by 3:00 in order to make it out by 5:00. We were not aware of the arriving about 4:20, so we made the loop drive in the morning. Check in was very smooth and the view was definitely worth the room price. There is a restaurant onsite that had a nice menu. We chose Monument Valley Navajo tacos. They were very tasty. There is also a gift store onsite that has an excellent selection of Native American jewelry, pottery, sand paintings and rugs, along with the typical tee shirts and gift shops selections. Breakfast is served in the same restaurant as the evening meal, but was complimentary. Overall we had an excellent stay!

This hotel is clean and maintained. The staff was accommodating, friendly and the Navajo nation is so pleasant. The view is beyond awesome and makes up for the restaurant which is ok and the complimentary breakfast is ok I mean no decaf coffee. But I would really recommend it, just bring your own K- cups
