Olomouc Homestays

It has been over two years since I had been in Olomouc due Covid but the Clarion Hotel has not changed, The food is superb, the staff friendly and the rooms everything you could want and particularly a huge deep bath which I love. Their rates are extremely reasonable. Olomouc is a delightful city and not far from the famous Tremesna Osoblaha narrow gauge Steam Railway which is fantastic and also worth a visit. The Ceske Drahy steam depot in Olomouc is also worth a visit.

I haven't stayed at the NH Congress for a few years, but it remains a superior establishment in all regards. I regard it as a definite plus, but no one could claim it's in the heart of the city. Usefully, there is a big supermarket at the end of the tree-lined road which is mostly restricted to pedestrians. Nor should potential guests be put off by its proximity to the football stadium as even on match days the disruption is minimal.

The hotel is very well located to the center and near the tram. The apartment was very well maintained and in a very good condition. The kitchen was also clean and furnished for 2 people. The rooms are large and bright, however, not bright. Only there were no hangs for strong darkness. However, for us no problem for people who like it very dark could become a problem. The staff is nice and helpful. Parking nearby is required. Our vehicle has been parking in the garage ”Kryté parkoviště Namiro” with the magistrate after loading. The garage is walking (about 20 minutes) or reaching the train. Cost CZK 150,00/Tag - Stand 12/2021. Breakfast buffet was good and fresh and was continuously filled. If something missed, you can contact the staff for it and if there is it will be served.
