I had a lovely 6 night solo stay here. The staff are so friendly, hardworking and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. There was always plenty of sunbeds each day so it was always easy to find the perfect spot. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was good. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. It’s literally a 2 minute walk to the main ***** in Olu Deniz so it’s perfectly located. The only slight issue I had whilst staying here - and not the fault of this hotel at all - was the hotel directly behind the block I was staying in - Karbel Hotel - played music and karaoke loudly each night. Most nights it ended by 23:00 but if you like an early night that might affect you. I’d certainly stay here again - I’d just ask to be in another of the 3 blocks and away from one on the Karbel Hotel side.

We arrived late and was allocated a ground floor room close to the pool which was great. Rooms are very small, have enough wardrobe space and with a mini fridge, consisting a decent size bathroom. The shower was powerful with fresh towels daily. Good points ... Staff are friendly. Pool is nice with ok music. Great location on the main *****. Bad points.... Sunbed wars are the worst we have experienced. If your towel wasn't out by 5am you had no chance of a sunbed. Eventually on our last day staff did remove all the towels and issue a warning 7am was the earliest they could be placed. Our block backed onto another hotel which was extremely noisy at night with loud music until midnight so no chance of sleeping before that. Would we return to the hotel... probably not but we had a good time whilst there still.

My wife and I have just returned from a week holiday in Olu Deniz, staying at the White hotel. Before I give my opinion on the hotel, I just want to mention that we both had a fantastic time in Olu Deniz. Despite some negative points that I am about to make, we really did enjoy our stay, by accepting that we only needed a bed and a shower. Reception - When we arrived in the early hours, we were quickly checked-in and taken to our room, with our luggage. On the couple of times that we did go to reception during our time there, we found the reception team were helpful and friendly. We did try and book a late check-out, but were told that we could keep the room for 3hrs, for £20. As we were being picked up at 19:20, keeping the room until 3pm was pointless. We did use the luggage and shower rooms (freezing showers), prior to leaving. Top tip, if you want a day at the amazing blue lagoon, please ask the receptionist for courtesy bus times for either Billy's beach or Seahorse beach club. Both companies will come and collect you and take you (and return trip) to their stretch of beach. We only went to Billy's beach bar and the cost for 2 sunbeds and a parasol was 800tl (just short of £16), which we thought was reasonable, taking the courtesy bus into account. Rooms - We stayed in room 103, however, on speaking to other guests, their thoughts were consistent with ours. As so many other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are very dated and basic. The main points in our room were as follows. A leaking shower basin. The water would seep through the seal and raised shower door runner. This meant the bath mat was wringing wet every time. The shower shampoo/ shower gel shelf had a long, protruding screw hanging out. There is a safe in the room, which is payable at reception. We didn't use this facility as we brought limited cash/ valuables. There is a fridge in the rooms, which fit a couple of litre bottles of water, and 3-4 cans of coke etc.. in. Rooms on the ground floor had small veranda's, which the rooms on lower ground obviously didn't. The mattress was pretty firm, but you could put the provided blanket under the sheet if you wanted to soften this a little. In our room, there looked to have been some considerable damage to the wall, directly beneath the fixed air con unit. This had been patched up quite poorly, making the plaster look wet and unfinished. The was more unsightly, more than anything else. Pool - The pool was a good size for the facility. Steps to walk into the pool, with a couple of metres with around 1m depth, before quickly dropping to 1.8m +. There were some noodles/ woggles to use, which was great if you just wanted to float around to escape the glorious sunshine! The sunbeds were made out of timber, clearly old with lots of water damage (as you would expect), with a padded cushion. They weren't incredibly comfortable, with some people taking cushions off of other beds to 'double up', which was pretty selfish. I have read on o
