Hisar Holiday Club

Hotel and staff really nice been coming here for 10 years. Just really disappointed that tonight catered more the Turkish who don't spend money rather than the true holiday makers who spend money..Eski bar had always been quiet but in the 3 weeks we have been here it has always been the English tourist that make it. But tonight Turkish people have been in bar and all music played catered for them. Hisar holiday club opened the garden bar for live music and Turkish music a couple of years ago which was great, nothing wrong with that but please cater for other holiday makers.

Recently returned from staying at the Hisar Holiday Club and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. On arrival at 1.00am the young man on reception was really helpful and showed me to my room. The room itself was basic but more than enough for what I required, two single beds, a small TV, refrigerator, kettle, ample clothing storage and nice bathroom with great shower. Rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily. Yes the aircon is an additional charge of £7.50 per night and the safe £2.50 per night, however I though this was still acceptable as the cost of the hotel initially was lower than others. The pool area was near to my room and was kept very clean, there were no shortage of available sunbeds, no need to reserve early in the morning, unless you want a particular spot. The breakfast included is basic and mainly consisted of bread/toast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs plus to two other hot options changed daily, local sausage, mushrooms etc. Plus a cold buffet of mainly cheese and some olives, cucumber, tomato etc. I found the pool bar and restaurant staff a bit miserable and did not seem really interested in my custom, so I only ate there on the first day and did not return. The hotel is in a great location near to all the shops, restaurants and bars. For bottled water and other drinks I would suggest the Morrissons Supermarket across from the hotel. Only 50p 1.5l bottle water. Restaurants that I visited that are worth a mention are Shine Indian Restaurant, this was really fresh and tasty, great service and value. Pepediz steakhouse, great little family run steak house and Izzy's Restaurant Cafe & Bar that do a set menu for £12.50 that is worth a visit. There are quite a few bars, however some seemed only interest in large groups, I found Buddy's Bar and the Malibu Bar were both very friendly and staff were efficient so recommend a visit. The hotel main bar was also a nice stop off on the way back to my room. Overall a great stay with no real complaints and would happily return to the Hisar Holiday Club.

This hotel I would recommend and would definitely return again. The rooms were great the staff were all so nice .The food was lovely too. Plenty of sunbeds, such a relaxed hotel & a great location. I was there with all my family & friends. We all had a great time. We had a medical emergency with my mum, and the hotel staff were so attentive to my mum. The staff got a doctor out to see her and arranged for an ambulance to take her to the hospital. On our return back from the hospital the owner of the hotel came to see my mum to see if she was okay. They arranged for my mum to have a room closer to the pool. They sorted that all out without us even asking. This place was brilliant and my whole family had a lovely time there. We are all hoping to come back next year.

Stayed at the Hisar with family and had a great time . Hotel was very clean. Rooms cleaned everyday. The pool maintenance man kept the pool area spotless one of the cleanest pool areas I’ve visited. Food at restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced the staff all very friendly and professional. Turkish bath in hotel spa was excellent very relaxing. We had a medical emergency with a family member and the hotel staff and the owners response was fantastic and I would like to thank you for all your help. Great location and I would definitely rate this hotel very highly.

We go to the Hisar every May/June for a week to meet up with family. Usually we ask for specific rooms and are accommodated normally. It was nice to see some of the old staff from a few years ago back. The staff are always helpful. The restaurant is very good.The rooms are good value and the hotel situation is excellent. We have booked again for 2 weeks in September and will be booking for next year.
