Green Forest Holiday Village

Just returned back from 10 days at Green Forest, as a couple staying in room 5203. In general the hotel is at best a 3 star NOT as claimed by JET2 a 4 star or the hotel class themselves as 5 star. first impression at reception is good dealt with promptly and escorted to our room - however on closer inspection they seem proud of awards for best hotel certificates (numerous on wall of reception), but none more recent than 2013 (this may tell a story of slow decline). The trip to our new room number 5203 took us to a back entrance that is best described as a "Tradesman's Entrance" (see pictures) with service carts, dirty stairs, fabric floor runners that 'crinkle up' and are a trip hazard and very dark stairs/ corridors during the day with no light switches (lights on timer and are only on after dark only). Our standard room/ balcony was clean - but very small. The furniture and fittings were very dated and showing signs of numerous repairs (i.e. chipboard exposed and screws visible showing repairs and all chrome fitting had faded (see images). we were greeted with a sign saying nothing can go in the fridge (see image) and would be removed by the daily cleaners - this they did everyday whether you bought it on site or not - we complained daily, they said they would stop doing it - but never did - so when we returned to the room we never had a cold drink. You only get one day of coffee - after that you have to pay for more or bring your own (there is a sign at the front of the hotel stating NO outside food/ drink to be brought in - however they don't seem to enforce this - but may do in the future!). The safe is chargeable at £3 a day and you must pay for your duration. Our room should have been cleaned everyday but was missed on 2 days - we had to ask for fresh towels - the cleaning was at best poor with no mopping of floors - no cleaning of cups/ glasses (see image) and thick dust on cupboard tops. The TV did not work. The room location was good with the great views of the mountains and main pool area. The air con was really quiet BUT lacked power - it took about an hour to make a difference. The main pool area was good - the sunbeds are really comfortable, but they were being reserved from 5.30am for the best locations with umbrellas - usually you could get a bed up to 9.30am but maybe not the best location. despite having a good children's pool with slide - all the kids with parents used the main pool, which was noisy and chaotic around the edges. The daytime entertainment is minimal but they do there best.... The music was great for us - all 60's/ 70's/ 80's and not too loud. All food/ drinks are bought using your room key and you settle daily or at end of holiday. No waiter service - so need to go to the bar and carry back to lounges - if you want a glass of ice to chill some warm water you had already bought earlier - you will need to pay £2 for 4 small ice cubes...... It can get a bit loud when they have live music at night up until about

We had amazing 10 day holiday here! On arrival (quite late at night) there was an issue with one room we had booked it was meant to be accessible however it wasn’t. Following morning following discussions with the manager and Jet2 rep this was super easily resolved and the accessible room was provided and they also moved our second room closer to the accessible room in the same block. They staff could not do more they always went above and beyond to cater for us and support my sister in her wheelchair and always made a real effort to communicate with her! This was my mums first trip abroad in 20 years and my sisters first ever trip abroad and we are planning on coming back ASAP! The hotel was a good distance away from the main ***** - around 5-10 min walk therefore hotel is super quiet in the evenings so you can get a good sleep! Food & Drinks were lovely at the hotel too - good selection. I’d definitely upgrade to swim up room as it was brilliant! We very rarely ventured down to the main pool only when we wanted a different scenery. Overall we had an amazing time and plan to come back as soon as possible.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this amazing hotel , ages ranged from 11 -78, Rooms were small but lovely and clean , air con worked a treat , we were in a swim up room which had its own little terrace, we were in block 2 and the bank down to it was quite steep, bear this mind if you have mobility issues, luckily my husband was there to push my dad’s wheelchair, to be honest though , if we had asked to move rooms I’m sure this would have been sorted for us straight away but we managed fine. The staff at this hotel are amazing!!! They made our stay here so special , they literally could not do enough for you, The snack bar had plenty of choice and we never had a bad meal, the BBQ nights are great plenty of food to be had and the belly dancers were beautiful and talented. We never had an issue with sunbeds, however I am round the pool early anyway, but even on a afternoon there were still Plenty to be had, my daughter loved the slides, there is a little shop on site and the owner is definitely a character , The walk in to the main ***** is nice and flat and not too far, there was plenty of choice once there. Tahir, Ali, Berkay along with all the other staff are a credit and we can’t thank you enough !!!!! We can not wait to return next year.

It was brilliant for the entire 7 days of our stay. The staf were superb, friendly and polite. A big shout out to Melike, she was amazingly helpful. The hotel really spotless; pools are lovely, rooms are clean as like your home and food is great. The only down side was that we only booked a week Overall we recommend it to everyone who needs to feel like in paradise.

We stayed at Green forest. We literally had the best two weeks. All staff was extremely friendly from management to cleaners. we didn’t have have trouble finding any sun loungers. food and drink In the hotel was reasonably priced and very nice. We had already booked for 2025 with another hotel as my father is coming who is disabled( wheelchair user). I didn’t realised green forest had an accommodation that was accessible. On the last day I was in reception talking to the jet2 rep. The hotel manager said that he would be able to guarantee an accessible room for my father. He told me the room number so I went to explore. The room would be perfect, I landed 3am uk time. By 10am I had phoned jet 2 and changed the hotel. This hotel is amazing. With that when we come in august with my family my brother is so impressed with the hotel he’s going to joining us from Australia. I don’t usually book the same hotel the following year however I’m already looking for 2026 as it’s incredible. Green forest can’t wait to see you again and make more fantastic memories with my family, Thank you for giving us confidence to take my disabled father away on holiday since he’s been a wheelchair user.

Brilliant stay at this hotel - great staff - room excellent and clean. They could not do enough for you. Thank you. The breakfast had plenty of choice and the omlettes the best ever. I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing a holiday in Turkey.
