Best Hotels near Kofuku Inari Shrine, Omihachiman

I stayed with my family for 2 nights for purposes. I chose this one near the station because of the location, but the room is a business hotel type and is by no means large. Is it kept clean? I couldn't deny that the equipment was aging, so I entered the room and there was a spot that was noticeable. Although it is 2 consecutive nights, the card key will not work at 11 o'clock the next day, probably because I booked one night at a time, and an error occurred. I asked the front desk to deal with two stories, but I went to the front desk again without apologizing and went to the front desk again. From the time of check-in, I couldn't feel the service spirit at all at the front desk, and it was clerical. This hotel seems to have nothing to do with that. Because there are usually more people cleaning the room for one night, the aunt uses the entire corridor to spread the used linen in each room, and it is difficult to walk in the corridor. The elevator is also occupied by a linen transport cart around 1100-1300, and it is difficult to get there. It's okay if you just sleep, but it feels a little expensive for that room and service.

Lake Biwa has been here before, so it is not on the lakeside, but I used this inn with a good evaluation of Cospa. There is no elevator in the building and the stairs are a bit steep. Clean Japanese modern room, Wi-Fi can be used in the room. I was happy to have a sofa chair. The bath is only an inner bath, so I also used the bath at the Yugenkan next door (600 yen for use). You will go to Yuyuankan and walk through the corridor on the lobby floor. The bath in Yuyuankan was large and very splendid and there were several types. There is a guide in the building so it is easy to understand. The garden open-air bath is a beautiful and elegant bath with waterfalls and moss. Also, from the open-air bath on the 11th floor, you can see the wonderful view of Lake Biwa overlooking 180 degrees. It was good that there was a washroom and a washroom area with a dryer in the open-air bath. The inner bath and open-air bath on the 8th floor were also large and good. I didn't enter, but there is a bath in one place later. If it is not a rainy day, I recommend using a bath in the sister house even if you pay 600 yen. Very clean bath area is also equipped with amenities, so I am especially happy for women. Well, it was dinner, but every item was delicious. The curry round fried and the scallops were especially delicious. It seemed a little unfortunate that there was no sashimi, but it was too much quantity and quality in any case. However, although it was a reasonable inn, alcohol was high in a luxury inn, and it was a little for us. The bottle of sake and shochu was from 3900 yen. If you offered 300cc of local sake at least 1000 yen, I think I tried various things (after all, I made it a shochu bottle that was not local sake). Breakfast was also a delicious Japanese food, rice, juice, etc. were Viking forms. No coffee (there was a paid coffee machine in the lobby). It is an inn with a reasonable price setting by omitting the service, but especially from the front desk male staff, I felt high hospitality. I was happy to be polite and kind.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

It was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my recent trip to Japan. Hotel is nearby the train station and has very convenient shopping close by. First three floors of the building are commercial, hotel begins on the 4th Floor reception and higher. Rooms on the floors above require key card to activate elevator upwards so quite secure. Coffee and soft drink machines are available between 1400 and 2200. Rooms are nice. Again separate sink , toilet and shower/bath facilities. Bed was typical and they offered the convertible hard/soft pillow which I supplemented with a towel. Quiet rooms despite being the buses and trains below. Breakfast is available in the bakery below. 3 meal combinations were available though the typical Japanese breakfast needed to be ordered the day before. Huge assortment of pastries and baked goods. Definitely a plus to start the day.

The next morning was early, so I used it for a night stay. It is very easy to spend with amenities. If you can charge it here at a cheap price, it's enough. I will use it again.

The Prince Hotel in Biwako is a place where a traveler can relax entirely. The lake-view room is nowhere one can compare. I feel owning the whole lake scene when sitting by the wide picturistic window from the 11th floor and sipping a cup of green tea. From frontdesk to suttle bus drivers, all staff speak English and are so helpful. The suttle service running twice an hour betwwen the hotel and the train station is a saving of taxi fare. The lobby at the entrance is so spaciously open that one can sit in an armchair at a corner and will not feel uncomfortable albeit facing a big group of travelers around. I will stay here again when I visit Kansai area next time. James

I booked an executive room with an independent open hot spring and a halal menu. The spacious room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake. The dinner is a lot of dishes and delicious! From steamed crabs to thinly sliced beef, you will definitely have a range of cuisines to choose from. I plan to do it again next winter.

I used it for a long time, but the cospa was very good. Surrounding: Despite the good access in front of Hikone Station, it is quiet and comfortable because there are few car streets at the east exit, which is the opposite exit of the station exit in the downtown area. Since the nearest convenience store is opposite the station, some people may feel a little distance ... There are taverns and Italians on the lower floor, and Chinese and Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurants just outside the hotel. If you go to the opposite exit of the station, there are many Al Plaza and bars. On the east exit side of the hotel, there are drugstores, ion town, Lawson, comeda, sushiro, bronco Billy, ramen shop, etc., about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room: 13m2 with 140cm beds. There is a white-based wallpaper, a large window, and you don't feel pressure. The window is closed because many insects come in. There is a humidified air purifier in each room, and if you put water in automatic mode, you don't have to dry it. There are air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, desks and chairs. There are two outlets on the desk and ２ next to the bed. The desk is large enough to put a computer on and work, and the lighting is bright and easy to work. The bed has a booklight and the mattress is also advertised, so it's comfortable to sleep in. Another pillow can be borrowed at the front desk. Breakfast: from 6:30 to 9:00 on weekdays and 9:30 on Saturdays and Sundays can be eaten in the lounge on the second floor. At the end of my stay, I renovated the lounge space, and I placed desks and chairs in a place where I could work and spend time slowly except for breakfast.
