Mushara Bush Camp

A nice and cosy stay next to the gate of Etosha national park. The tent-camps are comfortable, big enough for a family of four. Good quality bath room, a good size refrigerator and a safe. Mosquito net over all beds, and mosquito repellent provided. The pool are with enough sun beds, and service at pool at day main time. Great breakfast, and excellent dinner with good service. Wifi in main lobby area. Lovely staff members. I do totally recommend Musher Bush camp; and this was not definitely my last stay here!

Mushara Bush Camp is an atmospheric and family friendly place. After our flawed experience at the Mushara Lodge, this was a positive suprise. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was attentive and friendly. The lobby was perfectly geared towards the target audience (families and guests who are happy sharing their vacation with them) and food was good - not as outstanding as in the Mushara Lodge, but really good. There were some minor defects, but nothing as grave as to write about. Tents were on the rustic side, but this all part of the charm. As opposed to our experience in Mushara Lodge (see my other review), I would recommend this place. It's nice, charming, offers good food and is just about okay in terms of value.

We stayed a couple of days at Mushara Bush Camp and really enjoyed the experience. The tents were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good. Special thanks to Johannes, the driver, who not only found a leopard on our game drive but very kindly replaced a flat tyre with a spare in our rental vehicle.

We spent 2 nights at the bush camp recently and what a lovely stay it was! Great food, nice rooms, spotlessly clean, friendly staff and a very nice pool! The perfect location too, with Etosha just a few km away!

My group of 11 friends stayed here for two nights in July, 2023. We had postponed three times due to Covid and Sabine in the city office was the best to deal with of all the lodges I dealt with. We loved the elegant and tastefully decorated public areas and the luxurious and comfortable tents. The tents were well spaced apart and far enough away from the Restaurant as to be quiet. The big bed was comfortable and the bedding was good quality. There is a dressing room behind the bedroom with a bathroom and large shower. A toilet room opens off the bathroom. There is Tea/Coffee making facilities plus charging facilities in the tents. The wifi worked only in the main building but it was quite fast and reliable enough. We used Mushara’s excellent morning and evening game drives and enjoyed the knowledge and wit of the guides. They provided private game drives for our group, the number of us necessitating two vehicles. We saw more that we would have ever seen if we’d gone out on our own, being in constant radio contact with other lodge vehicles makes a big difference. A top choice in a prime location just minutes from Etosha.

I really loved this place. Every small detail in the tent and the common area was thought through, even in the restrooms. Despite the fact that it is in the bush, it had all amenities. We had a personal welcoming card with a small gift. The stuff we’re really professional and well organised. The food was simply delicious and what I would expect to get in Africa. Not the lame German food we got almost everywhere else. It was a but hot when we arrived, but they have a swimming pool, in the evening was cool and enough with a fan. One of the best places so far.
