Unbeatable ocean view room with a balcony facing directly out to the sea. Pushing open the window reveals a jelly-like blue ocean with a superb view. Sitting on the balcony, you can quietly listen to the sound of the waves and enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The hotel features a retro colonial design, decorated with pumpkin-themed displays for the Halloween season, creating a wonderful ambiance. The indoor swimming pool and hot springs (public bath) require reservations and an additional fee. Breakfast requires taking a ticket and waiting in line, though fortunately the hotel was very busy that day.

1. Great front desk service. They allowed us to check in an hour early and even upgraded our room. 2. The doorman was discriminatory, completely ignored our requests, and gave us a sarcastic look. 3. We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Monterey Okinawa. On the plus side, the hotel is very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the views are wonderful. Hotel Monterey Okinawa Spa and Resort is perfect in every way, except for the beach being a bit far. The rooms are all sea-view and odor-free. There's a street with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel staff are also very friendly.

The sea view room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel pool is great for kids, very fun, with changing rooms, towels, and outdoor slippers provided, which was very thoughtful. We ate at the hotel's Japanese restaurant in the evening; the food was decent, but a bit pricey. It's also very convenient to walk from the hotel to restaurants on the main street. Definitely worth staying.
