Ran into a typhoon, so I didn't get to enjoy the beach properly, didn't see the blue sky or white sands. The hotel is quite large, a typical resort. The room they gave me was huge, almost like a suite with an extra living area. It was great that the breakfast voucher could be used for the lunch buffet, so I could sleep in and still enjoy a meal. The food was pretty decent, had everything you'd expect and was quite varied. The hotel's shop is well-stocked, a souvenir shop combined with a convenience store. I also booked the Ryukyu beef yakiniku nearby. There was even an exhibition in the hotel!

An absolutely delightful choice! The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, a tatami zone, a sofa and coffee table, and a large balcony (which even had a patch of soil for planting!).
The hotel's outdoor environment is fantastic, featuring a semi-indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool, and a specially designated beach swimming area. It’s an amazing experience when the weather is good.
Since we arrived just before a typhoon, we were lucky enough to book the last snorkeling trip before it hit (you're supposed to book by 4 PM the day before, but the staff probably offered it because all offshore activities were canceled for the next day). Snorkeling was 6000 JPY per person, and they provided masks, snorkels, fins, and life vests. However, they really didn't teach anything else [facepalm emoji].
But when the two guides came into the water to show the kids sea cucumbers and played underwater, hearing their hearty laughter, I quickly let it go. They probably assumed everyone knew how to do it naturally [dog head emoji]. The kids could stay on the floating board, so the safety factor was quite high. There were 7 of us in total for this session, which lasted from 1 PM to just before 2 PM. For beginners, it was a pretty good experience.
The next day, due to the typhoon, all facilities except the semi-indoor pool were closed.
We booked the limousine bus at the front desk; they helped us purchase tickets, which were cash-only. It goes directly from the hotel to Naha Bus Terminal or the airport, with departures around 9 AM and at 11:31 AM. It took about an hour to get back to the bus terminal, which was much faster than the OAS bus we took on arrival.
Overall, extremely satisfied!

The structure of the hotel is old, but the rooms have been updated and were very comfortable and new. I absolutely loved the retro charm of the place and the common areas such as the atrium pool and inside courtyard area were beautiful spaces. What the marketing doesn’t show is the vast open spaces at this hotel, the stunning landscaped gardens and the art-spaces such as artist in residence and exhibition space. I was blown away by this and enjoy a fantastic painting workshop with the artist who focuses on the local flora and fauna of Okinawa.
The best point about this hotel is the staff. They are all incredibly lovely. Lisa and another lady name starting with H on front desk especially were so amazing, very helpful!
One night there was an error with our dinner and the chef personally came to apologise. He replaced our meal with a local menu which was incredible and after eating he said the bill was on him as a gesture of apology. I was truly touched by this gesture of kindness.
Areas for improvement: the kitchen being closed outside of designated times. If you want food at 10am for example, no chance. Also nowhere to buy drinks near the pool and beach. Food options are not great and the buffet is really mediocre.
Also, I would expect their approach to sustainability to be better on an island like this. There is an overuse of plastic, especially single use such as straws and each tiny piece of cake at the buffet being individually wrapped. Really no need for that. I do worry where all this plastic is going.
Beach is smaller than it looks. Can’t swim, very shallow full of seaweed and dead coral. Very quiet. Very strict lifeguard: no throwing a ball, no jumping, splashing, laughing it seems. We were using an empty bottle to collect water and build a sandcastle -he removed it. No standing on inflatables. No swimming outside of the fenced off area. From what I’ve seen this is an island-wide thing though, not limited to here.
Local area: really not much to see and do outside of the hotel.

The room is really spacious, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of high ratings restaurants near the hotel and you need to make reservations early for those popular ones! We booked mountain view but photo#2 is the view that we are getting! However I do want to point out that the breakfast is not quite up to the standard as there are not a lot of food options and we need to queue up for breakfast! Overall the stay was very much worth it!

We stayed at Moon Beach Resort Okinawa for my birthday, and while the beach itself was beautiful and definitely the highlight of the property, our overall experience was a bit mixed.
The location and beachfront view are amazing — the water was clear, the scenery was relaxing, and it really captured the beauty of Okinawa. However, we were disappointed with our room location. Our room was quite far from the elevator, which was inconvenient, especially since this was my birthday trip and we were hoping for a more comfortable and special stay.
The resort also feels a little dated and could use some renovations to match the price and expectations of a beachfront resort. The charm is there, but some areas and facilities feel like they need refreshing.
Overall, I loved the beach and the atmosphere, but I think the resort would benefit from updated rooms and better room assignments to make guests’ stays more enjoyable.

The room was quite spacious and even had a balcony with a beautiful view of the turquoise sea and sandy beach. I stayed for two nights and it was very comfortable. There were several convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance, making it super convenient for meals and shopping. It was also easy to get to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, and there's a direct bus back to Naha city. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The hotel's beach and common areas are beautiful, and there are many convenient stores nearby. This time, I stayed with my husband and my mom in one room. We each had our own bed, and my mom said she slept incredibly well because it was so quiet. Before booking, I was a little worried the hotel might be old, but you can tell they maintain it meticulously. The limousine bus goes directly to the airport, which was super comfortable and convenient. Booking a club room was definitely a good decision.

The hotel has very nice beach views. We did buffet dinner at the hotel which was delicious too. Beef curry rice is to die for.
The beach is open from 9am onwards, those with tattoos need to cover up. Recommend for you to stay longer to enjoy the private beach.

The service was good; all my inquiries were quickly resolved. The scenery is beautiful when the weather is nice. The steak and snow crab legs for lunch felt like a great deal. As for the facilities, they're just okay. If you booked it for around 1000 yuan, it's acceptable, but I wouldn't pay more. The sand is quite fine, and the indoor water temperature is slightly warmer than outside. The airport bus drops you off right at the hotel entrance, and Ryuukyuu no Ushi (Okinawan Beef) is right there, with a convenience store just a few minutes' walk away. Overall, it's worth trying.

The hotel location is convenient, just a five-minute walk from the station, and there are many restaurants nearby. It also has its own private beach. For breakfast, you can choose between Western and Japanese styles. The only downside is their strict policy regarding tattooed guests.

The room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly and even helped with our luggage. There's a free swimming pool and a private beach. The hotel grounds are well-maintained with lots of greenery, but it's definitely a bit old-fashioned, and there were some bugs in the bushes. There are restaurants nearby.

I stayed here a few days ago, right when a typhoon hit. The staff were all wonderful. Yesterday, I was supposed to take a shuttle bus to the airport and had already bought a ticket. Luckily, a staff member informed me that the bus was canceled and directed me on how to get to the airport. I'm so grateful to her! The hotel environment is also beautiful.

The beach views are stunning, absolutely unbeatable when the weather's good! Just be aware that the sand can be a bit rough on your feet. A few days here is perfect. Breakfast was good, lunch was excellent, and dinner was pretty decent too.
