"Capsule hotel in central Onomichi. Very new, clean, and spacious. Just above bike rental and next to train station. Capsules do not close, there is just a blind you pull down which means some light can get through. BUT the biggest problem we had was the complete lack of air conditioning in the pods, there is a fan button but it does nothing. By 2/3am it was so boiling hot I couldn’t sleep. For a brand new hotel I expect better!! Communication with main desk was sometimes difficult. Showers and toilets were nice at least. Free tea/ coffee. Also… tbankfully this didn’t affect us but if you have a multi- day booking you have to leave the pods/showes/ toilets from 10am-3pm every day!!"

"尾道駅から5分程度と近く、比較的リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できるビジネスホテルです。周辺にはコンビニエンスストアがいくつかあり、駅周辺には飲食店も複数あるため、ホテル滞在時の飲食及び食料調達に困ることはないでしょう。 他のホテル同様に清潔に保たれていますが、各客室は狭めで、客席内の床やバスルームの浴槽・洗面台を中心に古さが目立ち、加えて、これまでの宿泊者の利用による落ちない汚れの跡がところどころで目立ちます。非常に不愉快、というわけではありませんが、尾道の観光の拠点として活用し、ホテルそのものを楽しむことは考えない方がいいかもしれません。 出入口にスロープが設置されているものの、固定されているものではなく且つ少なからず段差もあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと感じるかもしれません。私が宿泊した時点では、客室の出入りと施錠は金属製のカギであるため、セキュリティ面でやや心許ないと感じるかもしれません。スタッフの対応はやや距離感を保ったものであるものの概ね丁寧でした。 台数はそれ程多くないですが、レンタサイクルのサービスもあるため、尾道観光に活用するといいでしょう。 This business hotel is located close to Onomichi Station (about 5 minutes away) and offers relatively reasonable accommodation. There are several convenience stores in the area, and there are also several restaurants around the station, so you shouldn't have any problems finding food or supplies while staying at the hotel. Like other hotels, it's kept clean, but the rooms are small, and the floors, bathtubs and washbasins in the bathrooms are old and remain dirt that has already been caused by previous guests and can no longer be removed. It's not that it's unpleasant, but you might not want to use it as a base for sightseeing in Onomichi and enjoy the hotel itself. Although there is a ramp at the entrance, it's not fixed in place and there are also a few steps, so people with disabilities such as wheelchair users may find it a little difficult to use. At the time I stayed there, the guest rooms were locked and unlocked with a metal key, so you may feel a little uneasy about the security. The staff were generally polite, although they kept a little distance. There are not many bicycles, but there is also a rental bicycle service, so you might want to use it for sightseeing in Onomichi."

"This is a great little boutique hotel - I think there are only 16 rooms. Our room (as I think all the rooms do) has a great view overlooking the Omonichi channel. The room itself was smallish (but normal by Japanese standards) in a modern western style and spotlessly clean. The staff here were amazing, they recommended (and booked for us) a great local restaurant and were super friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a short walk from Onomichi station and a short stroll from Onomichi Hondori shopping arcade. If you don't want to go out, enjoy a beer at the lobby bar which again has an outlook right onto the channel. There is no restaurant in the hotel but for breakfast try the bakery in Hondori St that opens at 7:30am (I think) and there is great espresso coffee just a few doors up. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again."
Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-Tei
"The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, below Qianguang Temple. The view from the room is really beautiful and it is worth walking up! It is actually about 7 minutes away from the shopping street, but because it is uphill and downhill, it will be a little more tiring than a flat road. Be careful not to bring too much luggage. The coffee on the first floor of the hotel is delicious and the breakfast is delicious! The staff explained very clearly. I would like to come again next time."

"Super satisfied! Far exceeded expectations! The whole building is bigger than it looks in the photos! There is a Japanese garden in the building! Super beautiful! The location requires a boat or a bike. If you have luggage, don't worry about taking the boat. It is also very convenient. The hotel is right after you get off the boat! The service is particularly good! Enthusiastic! The food is really great! The pillows are really hard! If you pass by nearby, I really recommend you to experience it! We arrived late and there were no bicycles to rent, so the owner lent us his! He was afraid that we would take the wrong boat and chased us out to help us find the way! Great!!!"

"Superb view and super large room, including a kitchen dining room that can accommodate 8 people, open living room and yard facing the sea, can accommodate 4.～5 people bedroom. The disadvantage is that the hotel is in the middle of the mountain, far from the community, and does not provide meals. You need to bring your own ingredients. The kitchen has a microwave and oven to use for free. The hotel provides coffee beans and hand-made equipment. It is very pleasant to grind beans and make coffee by yourself. There is a stove in the yard to make a bonfire at night. Oh! It is a pet-friendly hotel! You can bring cats and dogs to live. At night in the yard to see the stars when a kitten took the initiative to run over, and slept in my yard in the middle of the night!"

"Very comfortable and stylish. The room had a natural wood scent which was very pleasant. The 12 PM checkout time was great, allowing for a leisurely morning bath and time to explore nearby cafes. I was also surprised by the excellent drink service. I'd love to go back again."

"Just off the main street, a surprisingly spacious garden unfolded before us. We stayed in a private villa, and both the room and bathroom were large, clean, and very relaxing. The lack of a TV in the room is also a plus for those who want to relax in peace. The carefully prepared Japanese breakfast was also wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind."

"Since it's located in the Onomichi shopping district, rain wasn't a problem. The entrance was stylish and didn't look like a hotel. There's no elevator, so you have to go up the stairs, but it was convenient as I left my luggage there before checking in and went sightseeing. The room was stylish and had a projector, which was fun. My friend said it was "relaxing." I'm glad I made that choice. I was surprised that it included all-you-can-eat ice cream and souvenirs. I'd like to use it again next time."

Because it was a cold day, the hot water felt hot and warm But there were several short shower hoses and tall, so I couldn't hang them from my head unless I squatted down. and if the air conditioner is small for the room or heating It was a little chilly.
