This hotel offers so much more than a comfortable room. The complex includes a restaurant, bakery, cafe, shop and bike rental right on the water. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room was small but had everything I needed. I was on the second floor facing the street but the room was quiet and private. Excellent in-room coffee and great linens. The bathroom is big(!) and complete with a shower and soaking tub. There are bikes set up on trainers for use by the guests and the hotel is minutes from the ferry for the start of the Shimanami Kaido. Onomichi U2 is a perfect mix of offerings in an ideal location.

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

I went to the exam. I went early in the morning at night. I couldn't enjoy the beautiful environment. The location was very good, but I couldn't go out at night. Because it was very dark to walk back to the hotel from the shopping street to climb the mountain, I used my mobile phone to open a flashlight to find the hotel. It was very dangerous. The tail road in the morning is very beautiful. The Japanese tatami is not uncomfortable to sleep. It is also very good to go to the cafe to drink coffee in the morning and evening. Although the flowers pulled by the staff are not good-looking, the taste is no problem. The only bad experience of the accommodation is that the hotel bathroom is very old, there is shower gel shampoo provided without conditioner, and will not take the initiative to give toothbrush and toothpaste (I brought my own, I don’t know if I want to collect money) The hotel wants to buy no comb and can’t comb your hair in the morning. The staff who wanted to buy daily necessities said the nearest convenience store would take 20 minutes (after all, there is no way on the mountain). The picture was taken in the room at night

Great place - a little out of town (like 8 min bike ride). Comfortable and large rooms - particularly the triple share. Would love to see a couple of small improvements - (a) kettle and cups and tea bags/coffee satchets jn rooms; (b) two pillows per bed (or a couple in the cupboard); (c) plastic cup in bathroom; (d) hanging space or hooks for towels; wet clothes etc.

Because Onomichi was the first time, I booked with an expectation of a view unique to the town of Saka. Anyway, I wanted to enjoy the view, so I wanted a special room with a 2 face opening, but there was a reservation and an ordinary room. The window is not so big, but the view is good, because it was on the east side where the Onomichi water supply is visible. But the meal is ・・・. I decided to think ”if the view and the meal are good” because the reputation of the meal was good in Kochira, but it became a very unexpected result. The boiled fish and sashimi of the urinary are also ・・・ as the plan name is. Tenpu and so on are also fried, but the taste of Um. I remembered a cheap inn that I stayed in my school days for breakfast. (I'm sorry, I'm really wondering why this is a good review, and ・・・ chef changed??) If you feel that way, you will also grudge the oldness of the building or the hot spring. I thought that the impression of the meal was large. However, the employee 々, especially the front desk, was very kind and nice, so I made a review with the thought that the meal would be better. (The location is good, but the mottinai)
